So, I got yelled at by a customer today.

A guy yelled at me over the phone once. Basically, he needed to pay for his suit and the alteration costs beforehand which, as a newbie, I didn't know at the time. I told him to his face that I didn't know and that I would check, and hold the suit for him until I knew. After I'd found out later that day, I gave the guy a call to fill him in on the new info. He got angry and told us that he was a very important man and even knew the mayor of Bristol. Yeah. He actually said that. Even better was the fact that we allowed him to have the alterations made and to pay for it all afterwards, which he claimed made his life very difficult. Except that it obviously didn't, because the day on which he would need to pick up the suit remained the same. Also, after having claimed he needed the suit by Friday (we had already told him it would be available by Wednesday), he didn't pick it up until 4 weeks afterwards. And by "he", I mean his wife. Yeah.

Dickhead customers are just dickheads that you can't be rude to. That rule really sucks.

when I used to work in a night-club. There was this girl, who came there every single wednesday. She hit on me every single week. She used to wait outside the club after it closed. and ask me to kiss her everytime I served her a drink. I found her more creepy than the guys who used to make comments like "are your breasts real?" :|

At my current job, I haven't personally had any awful experiences. I've had a couple of customers swear at me, and that's about it - but I deal with complaints so I expect angry customers.

However, one of the TL's took a complaint last week from a customer. The customer was going nuts just because his phone model was out of stock, and he could either wait for it to come back into stock or choose another phone. The customer proceeded to tell the manager that he was going to "smurfing kill him and then rape his wife and mother"... just because the phone he wanted was out of stock! We have removed the customers insurance.

A client of mine was severely constipated so I had to digitally stimulate their anus. When that didn't work I then had to insert an anal suppository. When that failed I had to insert my pointer and middle finger and manually pull the hardened fecal matter out.

Well. Every time I kick myself for not choosing a pre-med major so I could go into psychiatry and rolled around in money, I'll remember that story, Ashley, and remember why I chose not to do it and why I wussed into wanting to do psychology over psychiatry when I get my Master's. xD

Oh god, what am I in for? *recently changed to pre-medicine*

My health teacher was also a nurse. One of her stories was an old lady with very high potassium levels in the same room as a man who just had double knee replacements. She had to then help in the emergency room for a good half hour for some drunk person. If you are a med student I'm sorry.
