What do you like about where you live?
Ethnically diverse, one of the liberal epicenters of California, amazing food scene, access to art, culture, concerts, festivals, exhibits, events, etc, the area is also surviving the recession relatively well.
What not?
The Bay Area is inundated with chilly fog at times. 65 degree weather in JULY?! Not cool. Cost of living is also fairly high. And too many neighborhoods that are crumbling and falling to decay while others are super gentrified and its crazy expensive to live there. Stupid one way streets.
What aspects from other places you've lived in/visited would you like to see in your city?
Would love it if the streets and neighborhoods were safe to walk around in at night. Like in Madrid where you can frolic through the well lit boulevards at 2 in the morning without an ounce of fear for your safety. Siestas are awfully nice too. Would also appreciate a more vibrant and expansive korea town area a la Los Angeles.

I live in Memphis, Tennessee.
I like the musical history, the cultural splendor, and the pure aesthetic beauty some of the places by the river posess.
I dislike the amount of criminal activity and the typical uberconservativeness in the more rural parts, even though the city limits of Memphis (I live in the metropolitan area) are quite liberal and open-minded.
