The 90s called. They said "DON'T FALL FOR THIS TRICK AGAIN!"
No, really, I might buy it but not until it's price drops. I don't see myself paying full price for it when I already paid full price for SF4. In fact the only thing that will probably make me buy it is if everyone else does and stops playing the original online.
Maybe I'll buy it for 360 since I bought SF4 for PS3. :D
Balrog's new costume is pimpin!!
Also alot of the new Ultras are released just search for them on Youtube. Some are pretty good, and some are still being adjusted. Balrog's new one used to be broken s othey are tweaking with it.
Rad Bromance: The game will come out and cost $40 off the bat instead of a full $60. I already dropped the original SFIV pretty much the minute Super was annouced because its just better in every way with every character being fixed (Abel's Change of Direction being unable to be uppercutted on block? Already reason to drop Vanilla SFIV).
I did hear that the 360 version has better online competition though than the other two platforms.
I don't wanna try and see too many of the new ones because there won't be anything left for me to look for when the game comes out in March???
Cody looks like he will be a fun character to play with. i hope they will fix one thing that irritated me last time and that's the controls. I broke my new PS3 analog stick in three weeks because of this game. It wasn't fun having to jab it back in place or trying to persuade Best Buy to give me another one.
Yep controls need less complication and more friendliness.
^ Is this new game even coming out in March? I heard it was delayed along with some of Capcom's other big titles.
Should consider getting a joystick Depression Moon...SFIV already has REALLY easy controls compared to all the other SF games that came out(i can prob list a bunch of stuff...). I do know you were using Viper though...so even more reason to get a stick!
And yes it got delayed until early Summer.
Summer? I guess that's the best. the longer they work on it, hopefully the better the game will be.
I read a while ago that one of the producers left out the part in the car smashing scene where somebody would come and say OMG my car because he didn't want to imp[ly that you did something bad. That sounds stupid to me. Aren't you doing something bad when you're beating up someone to an inch of their life?
I'm not getting the use for Rose or Juri's ultras though.
Rose's new Ultra i don't see a point yet...but they are still tweaking so theres hope. Juri's Feng Shui Ultra seems to allow you to do chain combos like Darkstalkers or something so it can see it being pretty damaging especially if they decide to remove damage scaling when you do it. To me it has alot of potential and hopefully not broken like Custom Combos are.
About car smashing...of course its bad!

Actually the release date is supposed to be anywhere from April 6 to the end of May. At least that's how Capcom made it sound. They did make clear that it would be out before summer.
Also note that....well, since Capcom pushed back all their games that weren't already coming out this month or next (due to several huge games coming out), they want to release one big game a season. SSFIV was meant for a spring release, with DR2 and Lost Planet 2 coming much later in the year.
And Depression Moon, the thug coming out and saying "Oh my god!" was actually only in the arcade game Final Fight, which was also released by Capcom. (hell SF2 never even had anybody coming out after the car was beaten up) The utterance was left in all arcade versions, however when ported to Nintendo systems, Capcom had to change it to "oh my car!" because they feared mentioning God would make some families mad. Same reasoning for the name changes from Damnd> Thrasher and Sodom> Katana.
As for SSFIV itself, it's looking really good. The only bad part is people complaining incessantly about a lot of the new Ultras involving some form of spin.
There's already some meaningful tweaks in the game such as Sagat's combo damage being nerfed, and his Tiger Uppercut damage being nerfed. However they added the super taunt Sagat had in A3 to his arsenal (the one that raises power on the next Tiger Uppercut slightly).
Cody, one of the new people in the game, got a couple changes from his appearance in Alpha 3. Most notably his V-ism dodge is gone and replaced by a move called the Zonk Knuckle (which is a punch that's kinda like Balrog's turn punch, where you hold the punch buttons). I think Lionx may know this but the reason they took the dodge out was because they found it to be too powerful, which is almost the same fate it befell in Alpha 3 during beta testing (his dodge in the beta A3 was a little too good. Capcom tweaked it down to the form it is now).
Dee Jay seems beastly so far. EX Sobat causes Focus crumple? Damn.
More thoughts later.
I thought the most complaining thing people did was say the new Counter Ultras for Fei Long(which already had a bad first Ultra) and Cammy and how much they suck. I agree with them though, they are completely useless as they are now.
But yes its true, they took out Cody's V-ism dodge because SFIV has a much more simpler design in engine than SFA3 which you have to admit, was pretty out there as far as SF games go xD. If they allowed him to keep his dodge in the form it was in A3, then he would easily get free throws, and workarounds to zoning characters in the SFIV engine.
So then the Zonk Kunckle was introduced...but i really don't know how this will work out in the final build so i won't say too much about it.
Dee Jay's EX Sobat does not crumple in the current build @_@ So...yeah sorry...

Remember things may change down the line.
The rumored characters for Street Fighter IV are Dudley, Makoto, Ibuki, and a new character named Hakan. This rumor was leaked shortly after the announcement of Street Fighter IV and nearly everything on the rumor list has come true. Ibuki, from Street Fighter III: 2nd Impact and Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike, is nearly confirmed as there was a screenshot in a volume of Famitsu that showed Guy using a Focus Attack to block one of her kunais.
Seriously? Makoto!?
AWESOME!!!
Hopefully this one won't be a giant campfest like SFIV, but I'll definitely be giving this title another chance if Dudley, Ibuki, and Makoto are in it; those are my 3 favorites in 3rd strike (omg I love Ibuki and Makoto so much ^^) so I'll probably be going like this :D a lot if theyre all in it compared to =/ how I am now towards SFIV.
