I thought Garchomp's primary reason for being banned to Ubers is having the stats of a Pseudo-legendary coupled with perfectly balanced STABs. The Dragon/Earth combo is resisted by only 2 Pokemon that I can think of (Skarmory and Bronzong [pre-evolution doesn't count]), and Garchomp has a huge attack stat, decent speed, and the 150% boost for same type to both of those moves. Even without the extra evasion from Sand Veil, he is just too powerful for standard.
Of course he is extremely powerful but the poké power is the main reason.Quote:

If/when it's been decided that we'll actually have a tournament, it might be a good idea to post the rules (once they have been decided) in the first post.
I'm up for any matches on Pearl version. I don't use legends or starters, not really a tier thing just a personal preference.

Right but arranging battles is hard without some kind of instant messenger, it's not like the game tells you if people come online unless you're in the lobby. I'll shush.

Ah! I'll get back to training, then. I've been playing more on Shoddy Battle than anything lately, testing different builds and such. I've got some good ideas of what I want in my party now. :D
