Sometimes when filling up my water bottle, the bottle has to make contact with the surface of the basin. Although I don't lick the outside of my bottles, it's still pretty icky to think of the germs that may be on it.

I remember when we still had well water. It went dry a few summers and we had to be careful it didn't freeze in the winter.
We constantly have this argument at work. I try to maintain that water bottle standards are actually lower than that of tap water, and so it's better to drink tap water.
Plus any impurities in your tap can be filtered out by your run-of-the-mill water filter.
It tastes just like every other pubic fountain you've ever licked, sicko.
I've seen a few people drink directly onto the fountain head...Now that's gross XP

I finally understand why my mouth tastes so gross after licking the basin of a public drinking fountain. I need to get a friend with a dog so I may lick his dog dish.
