Do you like rain?

I like rain + thunder + lightning + warm blankets.

I love rain, but now that I live in Florida it makes me kind of nervous. This whole state is a sinkhole ready to collapse at any minute. A year or so ago a little stripmall was illegally built at the end of the road. They had to raise the land to do it, and now our house is the lowest point of this neighborhood. All of the rain drains to us, so our backyard turns into a pond if we get too much rain.

There's something about a big storm that's actually kind of soothing for me. I like the sound of a storm.

Rain can be annoying if I have to walk in it a lot, though.

Slight rain is pretty.

The rain here is intense now. Like really intense. I'm not a fan.

Time to move to Perth methinks :bigsmile:

Lol. And I thought we got a little flooded during our week of rain. I see Aussieland is still actively trying to off you folks.

My :bou::bou::bou::bou:ty little hometown flooded once. The tail end of Hurricane Katrina. It was the only interesting thing to ever happen there. I got up and was on my way to class (because rain doesn't scare me) and then the bridge washed out behind me and I was like "Well that's just great" and I ended up wading across and calling a cab to get home. Also class was cancelled.

Australia is just sick of being full of Australians.

We get really strong rainstorms here, being an island off the east coast. I enjoy it, because torrential downpour is one of the things I've adjusted to and can even drive in. I'd take it any day over snow.

I like rain when it's summertime. I hate rain when it's winter and it turns into freezing rain and covers all the main roads with ICE. ._.
