Just remembered something I had planned on saying earlier but forgot.
The frame rate also isn't as stable as it was on SNES, that's probably a bigger contributor to "inferior graphics" than the palette changes are.
I honestly never noticed and if I did see it, I probably didn't care. I'm really not bothered by such things. :p

Atari is alright if you like flashy stuff. I personally thought the move from playing games with anything other than ones and zeroes has made developers lazy and really diluted the medium.
