Yeah, he marries Sherra after FFVII, but I guess you're right. If you consider FF7 the only visit to that world they never married.

They get married some point before Dirge of Cereberus. His ship in that game is even named after her. I don't know why she married him, but I assume it's because he asked.

I really wish you guys would start using the names...so far in this thread we've had them refered to as "the don", "That coach person in charge of squats" and "the chocobo chick". Seriously I didnt have all these problems in the FFVI thread.
