Alright, because I don't really have any commentary for the next stretch of the game, basically I travel through the tunnel for alike, two months, the monster that Ate Seth has sort of absorbed his consciousness and he talks to me about nothing all that important before leaving, the ancestors of the Mu Tribe were underground digging for so long they are hurt by the light and make up the current Angel Tribe, some guy traps Kara in a painting for some reason and I save her, and I head off to Watermia!
This is just... not a very good or important portion of the game. :p

This whole game has an underlying theme about why taking women on adventures smurfs everything up. SETH DIDN'T DESERVE TO GET EATEN BY A FISH YOU GOLD DIGGING WHORE.
Mt. Kress is the worst level in any video game ever.
