Why the heck would we want to get rid of emoticons? It's not like they take up huge amounts of space.
Because they're ugly, annoying as hell, and often get used to spam the damn place up =D?

If you do not make the pimp smiley a clickable emoticon, you will eventually lose all your members to tGA, which does have the pimp smiley(and the monkeys).
Then, tGA's bandwidth will reach it's monthly max in like...a day, and everyone will return to EoFF sad and depressed.

I agree with StriderX284 on one thing, and that's the smileys he wants removed. I'd love for all non-emotion-esque smileys to be removed, and also those gun ones etc. The :D one may be used for spam more often, but the percentage of usage of a smiley for spam is by far the greatest for the gun and sword ones.

Actually, that's just the appearance for one smiley... If 1 person looks a certain way, and you make fun of his looks, that's not racist, it's just making fun of someone.
