And what do you mean no reason to live or deserve it? Suvival is reason enough to go on...and, while they started to slip down the dark path, they saw the error of their ways when Cordy awoke. And yeah, Illyria would've made a huge difference, not to mention Angel ain't no slouch. And maybe Buffy appeared to save the day, too. Stranger things *HAVE* happened.
Okay you are probably right but here's the best I can come up with
Gunn was wounded anyway and could have died from his wounds, the blue Fred women was powerful but if you remember she lost most of her power though was still strong and she hated being like a normal person.
Angel um.. felt that he had finally paid for all of his past sins (gimme a break here) and Spike.. well.. I guess Spike didn't die he flew away in a space rocket.
As for Buffy saving the day, it does make sense as she probably had an army of Slayers, but if something like that happened it would be too important to have been left as a cliffhanger.
Meh, I tried you may now tear me to peices.

Anyone have the same favorite like me?????????
Yo!
Smallville is my new addiction. All my other addictions have been tragically cancelled a season or two in... so shame on network television.
I was heavi;y HEAVILY into Dark Angel when it was on fox. (how is it that the show gets cancelled but three years later both seasons are released on DVD? irony....)
and then there was a one season flop called Get Real, which started off good enough, but got way to involved way too fast, and lost enough ratings to cause frantic writing ploys. (they had one of the main characters chase a girl for four episodes, make the girl a main character with episodes based around her and such, and like 10 episodes in they moved her character out of state, prompting uber heartbreak in said guy. It was a ridiculous ratings ploy that basically bombed the already sinking ship...) still, it was way better than Boston Public, and made me sad to see it so mishandled.
and the Red Green show, PBS finest program. If the women don't find you handsome...they should at least find you handy!
There are a few shows I make a point to catch:
The Daily Show With John Stewart - Simply the best show on TV right now.
Real Time With Bill Maher - A surprisingly smart, funny political vehicle.
Curb Your Enthusiasm - Still one of the funniest shows on TV.
Pardon The Interruption - In my mind, the BEST sports talk show.
Chappelle's Show - Rude, crude, and daring, it's like SNL was in the beginning and when Eddie Murphy first joined.
The Late Show With David Letterman - Still makes me laugh after all these years.
Late Night With Conan - who will have the Tonight show in 2009.
Six Feet Under - I believe one of the most underappreciated shows on TV. Much better than the Sopranos is now.
The Simpsons - For so long, it was the gold standard in comedy and now has begun the long ride into the sunset.
Also, If We're Not Just Counting Current Shows:
Firefly
Futurama
Family Guy, until it returns
Monty Python's Flying Circus
Take care all.
LOST
Disney's Filmore!
I would also like to add Lost to my list of fav TV shows.
J.J. Abrams has done it again, I've haven't seen a series pilot as amazing as Lost since the premiere of Alias. The two shows together on Wed. nights would be amazing.
