tell u what, i had problems with demon gate.#
the first time i went in there i was an average lvl and i had brought Cid.
Cid is good AFTER you get quite far in the game and youve trained him up a lot. Anyway, lowish lvl, and i brought Cid. Mistake. Over and over again I got caned. The move where he drops the rock on your head killed my Cid and Cloud IN ONE HIT it did 1300+. It killed them almost exactly Strangely it never did the rock move on Aeris. Shame, i wanted her to die even earlieer than she does anyway mwa ha ah ah aha h a ha :D :D
But then i reloaded my game just before u actually go in, and picked Red XIII instead (whos my fav character).
Also, when i was inside, i trained up LOADS
I THEN ABSOLUTELY SLAUGHTERED DEMON GATE
MWA HA HA HA HA HA THUS IS THE WRATH OF THE KING OF DRAGONS......... ME hee hee

Demon Gate was a doss after i trained up

Demon's Gate is the hardest boss up to that point in the game by far. Once you get past him its basically a cake walk until the end of Disc 2 IMO.
