Ark is awesome and ff9 lets regen keep going during summons, so the length is really useful in tough battles as well.
I don't remember Shiva from FF91
You mean beatrix9 vs. Ultima Shadow. :DQuote:

Hey I'm back after a while if being away....obviously. Anyway I think I will have to join with alot of the people and say Shiva is the best summon. I think her best form is in FF10!
Ronald: I personally Looooooooveeeee Madeen from FFIX...
Grimace: *topples over* Sure, just help me get up... *explodes*
wow.Didnt Know People put so many replys in.Anyway.I Read most of them and im confused why no one said Alexander from FF7.Irocks.Although not the most powerful(that being KOTRT)But at the time of play he was the best hands down and most helpful. Also 1 more point
I
HATE
ANIMA!!!!!!
Thats better :)
I don't mind Bahamut, I just don't like the "best because does the most damage" rationale. For the porposes of this question, I'll assume all summons do 12 damage. 12 being an arbitrary choice.
Jinn (Ifrit) from IV is pretty cool actually. But for my favorite, I'm going to have to go with Odin, in general. Just a cool summon.
Or Hades... if anyone's ever played Planescape: Torment, and cast the spell "Torment", the sequence looks amost exactly like Hades's. Strange...
