Actually, during the Northern Hemisphere's winter, we're actually closer to the sun.

I can explain why we're so much warmer when we're farther from the sun, but that can take a while.

He's tight. It has to do with the tilt of the Earth and where the sun's direct rays hit.

chaos: I love Winter, and I don't mind if it's cold. Especially when it snows to a very high height :D

Rubedo: Pretty much all I do during winter is stay inside the house, and sip hot chocolate for a straight two weeks :tongue:
