Thats hard, I would say Zell though cause' he could use armagedon fist, which is stronger than all yeahs by far.

IMO i'd have to go with ifrit. shiva may be able to dull the flames before melting in ifrits wrath. besides, he can chuck huge boulders at her :D

Emerald Weapon, Omega would just drown in the sea.

Excalibur (FF1) Vs. Ultima Weapon (Cloud's Ultimate Weapon FF7)

Depending on who weilds them it could be either. I'll give the Excalibur to FF1 Knight and the Ultima weapon to Cloud and its obvious. Now for fun, give Vivi Ultima weapon and Rosa Excalibur and theres a duel!

Since you can't pit weapons against eachother without specifying users thats really not a valid battle. The 2 swords would just lay there, thus draw.

Sephiroth and Cloud vs. Cecil, Freya, Yuna (FFX-2) and Guy

Cecil, Freya Yuna and Guy, (if they're at level 99) (For Yuna and Guy, if their stats are maxed out)
If not, Sephy and Cloud win.

Edward (FF4) Vs. Gordon (FF2) (Again, you say?)

Gordon because of FF2's whacked stat upgrading system.

Reis (FFT) vs. Gareth (FF2) the dragoon.

Gareth/Richard, because just as you stated, you can make him a powerhouse with good stats.

Since this was a pretty good debate in the other thread...

TEAM BLUE MAGE vs TEAM RED MAGE
Strago, Quistis, & Quina vs. FF1 Red Wizard, Tellah, & Faris (as a red mage)

Blue mages. quina takes their magic away, and quistis kills them while strago stands around trying to give good advice and possibly healing if red mages try anything funny:P

Yojimbo vs. Gilgamesh (ff8)

Yojimbo.
As the FF8 gilgamesh doesn't have many distinct abilities, and Yojimbo has Zanmato, it would'nt be a very long fight.(FF5 gilgamesh would whoop yojimbo, though.)

Knights Vs. Dragoons
Fighter, Cyan, and Steiner vs. Kain, Butz (Dragoon), and Freya.

The dragoons. they can just "Jump" and dodge all knight's attacks.

Galuf (Bare level 20) Vs. Tellah (level 20)

Depends on whether tellah has all his spells back or not. If he does, then galuf is toast. If not, Galuf will whip that booty.

Big Bad Boss Battle Royale: Zeromus vs Kefka vs Sephiroth

Kefka would be first eliminated, followed by Sephiroth. No other FF villian can hold a candle to Zeromus in terms of power.

Zidane vs. Locke

A fully beefed Zidane vs. Fully beefed Locke = Locke. Locke may have less power but if he's mastered all the espers, Locke's got plenty to beat out our tailed FF9 Hero.

Rydia vs. Yuna (FF8) vs. Krile (Summons only.)

Yuna.

*The* Magus Sisters. Then I'd say Cara[krile] because if necessary, she could mime bahamut several times, getting the jump on rydia.
