We should not involve the FCC. I hate to sound insensitive, but if we don't like it, we just don't listen to it. If the FCC would stop getting on everyone's case about whatever they feel is in bad taste (in this case, however, I'd agree with them) it'd become very obvious which stations to listen to and which to do otherwise.

As for the DJs - they'll rot in Hell, so it's ok.

I believe the irony escaped you. If that had been the "N" word, you would probably be up in arms, would you not? But alas, it was not the "N" word, it was a slur aimed at the Asians, so obviously such a thing isn't as important, right?

Exactly. I'm American and I feel greatly upset about that. Of course they have freedom of speech but, I mean... that is not right. It pains me to see races fighting. We're all one race...Human. That song is very upsetting...

I am probably the only person here who found that song funny. Those two are jerks(actions outside the song) though and the FCC should be notified of this so fines are handed out and then those two will be fired. Its that simple.

I think people need to lighten up a little bit and learn to take a joke...even if it is in poor taste.

Should they listen to this song and just laugh it off? Should they not be hurt and offended by a song that ridicules the entire tragedy?

This song wasn't just "a joke." The song wasn't just painfully racist. The song itself is vomit-inducing, but it isn't even the real problem. It's the people who wrote the song and felt that they had done nothing wrong that disgust me. They displayed an unfathomable lack of compassion for those who died and complete disregard for those who lost loved ones in the Tsunami.

It enrages me. It hurts me. And I have every right to be pissed off as hell about this idiotic, hateful song.

And in my opinion, people have to stop condoning blatant racism like this by saying that it was all just a joke. It wasn't JUST a joke.

Which begs the question, "why not?"

After all, such comments are obviously atrociously callous and uncaring. As has been stated earlier, such a thing really should not be allowed. Obviously you don't care, but again, why don't you?

Should they? No. Should they bitch complain and moan? No. I think they should just ignore it. People died and so will some tomarrow in some stray bullet from a drive by. Its just as much of a tragedy to that family but I don't see them going out and bitching that Gangsta Rappers need to be more considerate about the tradgity that happened to them.

You see it that way. I didn't hear the radio song but the lyrics seemed funny to me. Did you hear the song?

I feel sorry for what happened but I think the countries over there need to do something. The world is coming to the aid but not the surrounding countries. If the other countries got hit by the wave then the ones who really got hit(but didn't in my senerio here) would not do a thing either.

I don't know exactly where I am going with this but I guess I could end it by saying they all suck.
