Yes, I mutter to myself loads. Random things, mainly when I'm planning things in my head.
What I've been known to do though, is have a conversation with a friend and carry it on inside my head. So about five minutes later I'll randomly pop out with "Well, if you put it like THAT I suppose it could work...." Or some such nonsense. It's entertaining.

I don't really like to talk to myself audibly. I prefer being silent and thinking things through. Sometimes if I'm playing music I'll try to hum melodies or with chords but other than that, eh.

I never have conversations or discussions with myself. I sometimes say out loud what I'm thinking though, or swear even if there aren't anoyone else around.

Yes. Way too much. In the middle of the night, when there's no one else to talk to, I talk to the room...walls. Posters on the wall.

And I have conversations with myself, when I pretend to be someone else.
