Xenogears being XS episode 5

Ah yes, that's right. So any relation is in name only.

I still think they take place in the same universe. It'd be cool to find out what happened to Kos-Mos.

But then this new NamcoxCapcom game starring characters from Xenosaga and Street Fighter will happen, I wonder if this RPG will actually tie in with the storylines of Xenosaga (Capcom Vs SNK 2 was the only crossover to tie in with the Street Fighter Storylines) or it will justb e Cannon fodder that if you ignored it then nothing would matter.

I wonder, with the naming of the third game, more or less linking it to 2001: A Space Odyssey, are they planning on trying to fuse knowledge with the evolution of man? Perhaps the Zohar are as the monoliths in the film, left by a higher power to guide the way toward a new self-realization?
