I lurk all the time because my computer doesn't let me log in.
Then I forget my password and try a million different passwords and aren't allowed to log in.
So I have to lurk. :(

This is the only forum I've ever really joined...all other forums, I just lurk and read other people's posts. It's not so bad. Though, now that I am actually a part of a forum thingy, it feels weirdly like a little family or something....you know, a group of perfect strangers that I feel safe with. I don't know. But anyways, now that I'm on the other side of the fence, it does feel a little odd knowing that there are other random people reading everything we post and just.....well, lurking in dark corners and stuff.......:O_O:
I don't lurk. It's best to just get in and get out. You break a lot less hearts that way.
i dont see why they dont just join i did, i mean they come on the site and its free to join so why dont they its annoying when you look at members online and theres only 50 members and about 300 lurkers
I "lurked" for a while because I felt intimidated by everyone's vastly superior intellect. But they were all too eager to show me the ropes in my newbie thread "ROFL and LMAO. What do these mean?"
I think lurkers have a bad image solely due to the name. To lurk, as well as mean to lie in wait. Can also mean both to; lie in ambush, and to behave in a sneaky and secretive manner. Yes, it's not a particularly nice name. Maybe if someone changed the name "lurkers" to "readers", they wouldn't get this negative image.
I love Mr Quina's posts, they're just soo ambiguous. :D :pQuote:

I look at the threads, but only post if I have something to say. And I usually only post once in a thread.
*pulls out vulcan blaster*
I lurked for 2 or 3 months before I got the guts to join.
