What did you name your characters?

call Amarant "Homosexual" so that way he can introduce himself to Zidane after naming him something besides RED like this:

"fine, i'm the flaming Homosexual"

gave me a laugh, you can laugh too if you want to...or flame too

Zidane i wanted to call "bobo" spanish for "monkey"

I always named them after friends of mine until recently when I started to get lazy.

Zidane -> Aaron
Garnet/Dagger -> Alyssa
Steiner -> Omar
Vivi -> Kevin
Quina -> I think it was "????"
Freya -> Freya (I never used her anyway)
Eiko -> Sarah
Amarant -> David

It would be hilarious if you have named Amarant "Ass"

Butz?! I refuse to play through a whole game with a character that is named "Butz"

I keep all my character names the same, but I did consider calling Dagger, Garnet. But I didn't... Forgot... :p

Zidane > Buccura (Its my Alias)
Dagger > Ryala (I just like that name)
Vivi > Ron (Because he slightly reminded me of Ron from Harry Potter at first)
Steiner > Bronx (I often give this name to any hard hitters)
Freya > Nea (I think the name sounds very pretty ... cause I find Freya very pretty x3...)
Quina > Meetsoo (I play on the name "Mitsu")
Eiko > Seras (I dont know, its just what came to mind at the time)
Aramant > Indrid (Named after my best friend's alias)

I only changed their names the second time through... I named them all after friend's aliases from another forum.

1st time: Preset Names

2nd time:
Zidane: Chaosky (my alias from the other forum)
Garnet: Rei
Steiner: Quocora (the full name wouldn't fit)
Vivi: Kit
Freya: ....Don't remember
Eiko: Cytani (also short for the full name)
Quina: Aquados
Amarant: Silver (as far as I know, silver doesn't burn)

Zidane - Grover
Vivi - viki
Garnet - Christy
Freya - Zidane
Eiko - Zachary (After my little brother)

The 1st time i played i thought Zidane was a girl (cos he does look like one slightly!)
I called him rachael.

Also the second time i played, i called Vivi Puck, that way when Puck asks you your name and you say Puck, he will take the mick out of his own name.

I called Steiner big fat bottom, because on an active time event in Dali, it will say 'Brahnes big fat bottom'

I called Eiko Bob, i don't know why, i just think it sounds funny.

I called Amarant idiot making it 'im the flaming idiot'.

I called Freya-Freya.

I called Dagger 'Mage masher' because it sounded funny how she went on for ages about some dagger and then said
'so this is a Dagger, thats it, I will call myself Mage Masher!' It's also quite offending to Vivi.

I called Quina transexual, as we don't know if he/she is a Bloke or a woman!

I don't remember exactly what I named everybody else, but I once called Amarant Dragon.

I just kept their original names. Now whenever I play it though, I change Garnet's to (SPOILER)Sarah, for obvious reasons.

Zidane = Richard
Garnet = Opal (2nd time through- tampon :rolleyes2 )
Vivi = Jobe
Steiner = WD40 (haha he is really rusty)
Freya = Kept the same
Eiko = Brat
Amarant = Garbage (hehe Flaming Garbag)
Quina = Iduno

The first time through, I didn't rename anyone exept for Garnet....I changed it to Alex for some reason. Then I realised she woul be "Princess Alex of Alexandria"......It just sounded weird.

The second time I played, I decided to be different....

Garnet-Bianca (which is my first name)
Steiner-Planet (just so Brahne would say "Captain Planet!") well, I thought it was funny.

Now, I've started a new game and I've kept all the names except for garnet which I changed to Dagger.

Sometimes I change Amarant to Ass. The Flaming Ass!
