This is accurate, I watched the videos on the site, looks incredibly clunky and unstable. The legs don't lift when it walks the feet just slide across the floor in a sort of walking/sliding motion.

It looks incredibly lame in the videos but hey, give the guy some credit, he built the thing from scratch by himself.

Won't happen.they barely have a military and aren't allowed to have a big or even medium size military.Due to the fact that they can produce fast and move fast and the USA would have to worry about their west coast.

I can't belive someone said that they think this thing would have to move at 40 Kph to be useful.

Do you have any Idea how slow some Tanks are? OMG!!!

If it could move on un-even ground and move at 10 Kph then the military would have already Stolen the thing from him.

Think about this... Humans Can not Run at 40 Kph, do you think humans are useless for the military?

That's still really slow, but fast enough that it can actually go places reasonably fast.

Some tanks can exceed 100. Vehicles like that need to at least be reasonably mobile, to help prevent them being out-manouevered. Something as slow as this mech would just be pointless, militaristically speaking:p

Sure, but it'd still be very vulnerable to strikes from the land or air. It's not very big, so there's not a lot of room for armour.

The fastest humans can reach 42... but people aren't military machines. You never get into a dogfight where one tank is duelling with one enemy soldier, except in video games. Armed vehicles have got to be able to move; soldiers on foot have other uses.
