i love FF, but it's not my firstie. i think it was Super Mario RPG. didn't even know it was a Square game. i used to play on emulators. i still do, but not as much now. plus, they're only for GBA.

my first was FFX, then i played the rest
Way before I had anything but a Genesis, I saw someone playing FFVII and was intrigued. Years later I borrowed a friend's PS1 for the summer and started with FFIX. It's still far and away my favorite.
I watched my stepbrother playing FFIX, and that got me sort of interested...but my first real Square game was FFX.....ah, memories...
First square game for me was 3D Worldrunner, then Rad Racer, which neither impressed me much (worldrunner i still enjoy to this day from time to time though)
then my dad bought Final Fantasy when it came out, and ive been a square junkie ever since
