How old were you?

i was about 10 or possibly late 9 years old when i completed it but i got stuck on the desert palace for over a year(probbably1.5yrs.)and then i got stuck on death guise for ages then necron for even longer but when i got curaga i kicked him up his ball(the one with his his head in.)
