I really don't have much to complain about with my windows. It's working smoothly enough for me. And when it doesn't, it can be fixed.

Windows, since it works fine for my needs, plus I'm so used to it. I'm using Windows XP, I think.

So I finally loaded it up and put the XP CD in, couldn't find the file it wanted and decided just to back my files up as it miraculously stayed on for an hour, and then reinstall Windows. But it wouldn't let me because my version of Windows XP on CD is older than the one on the pc, and I can't find the Service Pack CD to sort the whole mess out. So now I can't use my upstairs computer. At this moment in time I don't like WIndows.

Apple scares me

but XP is really annoying...its making itself look fancy and it's so slow...that might be because of files and all the crap i've saved off the internet, but its not my fault i tell you!

I have this problem as well. The only thing to do is backup your stuff, fdisk and delete your Windows partition. That way when the Windows installer loads up it'll find unformatted space to install itself on. This has got to be the dumbest thing ever, though, that an OS with security updates can't recognize the same OS without the security updates.Quote:
