Large avatars and sigs are eyesores. Everything is fine the way it is.

I agree with MoonsEcho. When you see all sorts of sizes while looking at a thread. You start thinking that they're alive, or your eyes are playing a trick on you.

Yes, that is a real animated GIF avatar on the dbz tribute forums.

The way the forums are, having larger avatars would make the forums look messier. For the record, EoFF always used 60 x 60.

60 x 60 avatars are more aesthetically appealing than larger avatar anyway.

I agree that it is tough to get a good avatar to 60 x 60 (at least for me), but I do like it better this way.

I'm pretty used to the 60x60 avatar size. I think anything considerably larger looks kind of tacky.

I for one wouldn't mind a larger avatar size, but after a while of watching, I have come to the realization that it is not going to happen.

although I wish we could use lj icons ;_;

I think the actual reason for this is that EZBoard only allowed 60x60.
