It's has more to do with distinguishing when it's my phone that's ringing and when it's someone else's. And yeah, I kinda like listening to my ring tone before I pick up.

Mine is the song Golden Brown by The Stranglers and it was completely free.

I have this tune that came with my phone called "Onyx". Its neat.

If I get a mobile phone it'd be "ring ring ring ring banana phone"

Right now it's the "I Want It That Way" by Backstreet Boys".

I won't use a song I don't like as a ringtone, and I feel that using a good song as a ringtone completely defiles it.

There's a program or somthing that allows you to use any song you want as a ringtone. My stepfather has it, quite convienent actually. :cool:

Bah, the last phone I had didn't HAVE any of these crazy ringtones. I went for the standard ring thankyouverymuch.

That said, I havn't used the phone for years now. I like being out of touch from time to time.
