I'm applying for grad school for next fall
I'm a sophomore at the University of Notre Dame. We're well into our third week of actual classes.
First year at Uni and this is my 2nd semester now, and I am definitely liking it way better than high school. I've met a lot of nice people but the assignments are just sooo stressful, heh.
So much schooling all you Americans do! You finish highschool then go to college and then go to uni?
School is thirteen years. Kindergarten, then first grade through twelfth grade. That's prettymuch required, and we get out when we're 17 or 18. College IS "Uni". Some of us go to college, usually for four years. Some jobs -- medicine, law, stuff like that -- require even more school, but most don't. So most people are out of school when they're 22.
i'm in my third semester at community college, still figuring out a degree and a major. it used to be writing, but the way is as long as the "Yellow Brick Road". besides, my room's stacked with papers here and papers there. lotsa writing. i'm lost...
