It did, at least here. The Kibbutzim did pretty well for a while... then, as the country developed, and people strived for more money, possesions and liberty, they got shut down, and turned into normal places to live in.Quote:

Also, in Communism, it doesn't matter WHAT you work in - everyone gets paid the same, or don't get paid at all. The government takes care of everyone equally.

Yeah, exactly why it's the most corrupt, vile system of economics ever conceived. A scientist who has put in years of their life to learn his trade deserves more money for it than the guy who works at the local Wendy's, because he's worked a lot harder in so doing. The truth is that if your raised in a Capitailist society your greedier then someone who wasnt. What do you think the socialist transaction is for?
