I'm just glad I live in Britain. We have the same amount of rain and wind, but portioned out equally across every single minute and second of the year. That's why our entire economy is based on the manufacture of anoraks, gloves, and silly woolen hats.
Except for that one hurricane in the 70s, but that was a deliberate attempt by the French to steal all our cheese. They're jealous because everyone likes cheddar, but no-one likes camonbere(sp?). But everyone likes Brie, so I really don't see what they're upset about!

Actually it was in October 1987 that the "Great Storm" happened.
It was a tropical depression from the remains of Hurricane Floyd, not really a hurricane but still it pwned the south area of England.
So what's the status of Wilma now?
