well, i dont think it has to do with age difference, vincent is just still hung up over lucrecia. (as i said in my first post...)
besides, yuffie probably wouldnt be interested in anything that doesnt have to do with materia anyway:p
btw, yuffie was 16 in the game. (thats what it says in the instruction booklet.) just sos ya know.:choc2:
The movie takes place 2 years after the game making her 18 and DoC takes place one year after that making her 19. If Vincent wasn't immortal, he'd be 60 like Haschel from Legend of Dragoon.
People like to smoosh Vince and Yuff together 'cause they're both hidden characters. That's the only thing they have in common. The only thing Yuffie's got against the ShinRa is that they turned Wutai into a resort that the company uses for vacation. She's pretty sure that she can free the village by obtaining lots of materia.
Mostly because she's got more of a key role in DoC, I think it would be cool if Yuffie got to Vincent . . . and then got with him..
I don't think they belong together. Ew. Not compatible whatsoever. Sure, they're opposites, and opposites "attract", but sometimes, people who are completely different end up loathing each other. :)
