SO3 was good in that you could change people, unlike kh when u were restricted to 1 character
I liked the fluency of FFX-2, and being able to change classes in the middle of a fight meant less preperation beforehand
and then there were games like Super Mario RPG, Bahamut Lagoon, Chrono Trigger, Seiken Densetsu and so on that were also good, even though they were'nt nesseceraliy Square Enix games (not all of them anyway)
