Money is important because recreation is important.
Money is very important. Period. Without money you have no food or shelter and this is something very basic that you just don't get without money. Then there are things you need that actually make your life enjoyable. People who say all they need to be happy is love, etc. are full of crap. :cat:
Money is my life, people say money dosent buy you love, I say there poor, Money buys me happiness.......
I love money, but I always try and look for the best bargin so I can save as much as poss. Hence the reason me and my grandma visit carboots and charity shops. Money does bring me happiness, via the item Ive bought :D
I'm miserly.
Reading the autobiography of benajmin franklin makes mew onder just how little sustenance humans need to get by. He talks of a lady living in her garret in London who hardly eats anything in a day.
I like money, and I like having it, but I don't like that I like it. Although right now I don't care too much about it since I don't really need it right now. The parents pay for all the important stuff.
If I was a millionaire I'd buy a nice house, good car, and a few other things and then give myself around $150,000 a year for anything else. The rest I would give away/start a foundation/scholarship fund.
Don't get me wrong, I love money. I just don't value it as much as I value my family and friends.
Money is just a materialistic object. When I start needing it then I'll care enough to want it.
Exactly my thoughts.Quote:

It's not like it's the most important thing in the world. There are plenty of things I value above money like health and friendship and love. But it does allows a person to have more freedom and options in their life and that's pretty darn important to me.
I don't really value money. I just worry when I need money and don't have any. If I'm broke but I don't have anything I need to buy, then I'm fine being penniless.
