I freaking hate shapes.

Hahaha, just keep using them no matter how much you hate them..I used to hate them, too. Oh and a little tip...don't draw the shapes too dark.

Never caredd much about shapes though.I just go straight to the character and draw the hell out.

But doesn't it come out deformed for you? Mine does, if I didn't use shapes..

Well,if you'd like to see some of my drawings,check them out at the "show off your art" thread.Really,my drawings are never shaped,I SWEAR.And I like it just the way it is.

You know, I just noticed the girl in the second pic (first post) is holding the sword by the blade.

EDIT: Oh, and I do what Mr Omnislash does and for the most part they come out just fine.

That's way better than what I can do, I used to be able to draw characters from Tiny Toons, hey that gives me an idea to start a new thread!
