It's never happened to me, although sometimes the smilies in the more box don't work. The most annoying thing i've found is if you take to long to write a post, when you submit it, it say's your not logged in, but when you do try to log in it never works, so i alway's have to rush my posts. :mad2: Does this happen to anyone else?.

I rarely have that problem, and its usually easier for me to type them out anyway. :D
for the most part, no. but it gets to be a nuisance, because when i go to copy it, i may accidentally cut off part of the sentence and there will be an encoding E R R =-/ R and others will see it for a quick 10 [or 5] seconds...........................
I can't think of a time I've ever used a smilie on FFXI--I'm pretty sure that I have them disabled. I only use text-smilies. =D
