Rinoa is a decent enough name and unless someone is into video games, specifically FF, no one is going to even know that she was named after an FF character. :cat:
OMG I have an e-friend who named his son (now a year old), Squall.
They could date someday.
Rinoa's a pretty name but... err.. Squall is not.
A squall means great gust of wind, right?
I've never played Zelda before but I think Saria is a pretty name.Quote:

I'm going to name my kid emerald weapon. NO LIE!
I remember in year 7, I was on the Student Council, and each of us had a 'buddy class', which we went to on Tuesday arvos and got all their suggestions. There was a little asain girl in the class called Rinoa. She would have been born before Final Fantasy VIII, so I don't think there was any connection. But I think Rinoa is a pretty name :D
Most of those are comman names anyway.Quote:

Squall would be kind of cool, but it would get awkward with a cousin named Rinoa.
