I dont even know...or really care.
11-30 in real life. They are all my best friends, and if they backstab me than I guess I minus one. :p
I think there's probably about 8 people offline and online who I'd actually consider to be real friends of mine. Like Azar said, I'm friendly with a lot of people, but we're not close or anything. I couldn't handle that many super duper friends.
Are you people counting acquaintances? Because that's the only way I can see *anyone* no matter how popular they are to have more than 200 "friends".
Friends would be people you regularly interact with. Who know you well and who you spend a certain amount of time interacting with. The person on campus you say hi to every 5 weeks or so isn't a friend. That person is an acquaintance. For some reason, it kinda annoys me that people will so liberally pass around the word "friend". My friends mean a great deal to me and I wouldn't give that label to just anyone. Only to the people I really consider to be, you know, friends.
Best friends: 7
Outside circle of close friends: 20 or so
Semi-close friends: 15 or so
Online friends: 10 or so
Acquaintances: hundreds.
Urmm, well I have alot of friends, people who I'll say Hi to if I see, and talk to if Im in lesson with and they also all hang around at the same place as us.
Theres about 10 people who I'll meetup with out of school and whom I consider my best friends.
Let's see, I'll cheat and count online people...
Yamaneko is the only friend I need.
Like I would hang around someone of such low e-class. :foot:
Well, I consider you a friend. And I'm just as much a friend to a lot of other people. Maybe I'm just very open to such things. I'm also a lot more social than yourself.Quote:

Also, if I get close to someone, I can spend a year away from them and then talk to them again as if I just saw them yesterday. An "old friend" doesn't mean "not a friend anymore" as far as I'm concerned.
EDIT: If you wanted to know how many 'best' friends I have, I'd say something more like 5-10. And even one or two of them I don't chat to very often at all these days (although mostly due to stuff like me moving away from NZ, they're still my best friends and I'd trust them with pretty much anything).
30-100 I'd say closer to 100.
I am a very social person. Just not so much online. Not sure why that is, but it's a lot easier for me to make friends and interact with people in person than it is for me to do it online.Quote:

But yeah, erm.... about 100 offline friends (I'm so popular B) ) and about 200 offline.
