That's a self-contradicting statement. No one who actually knew anything would take his place, because the only arguments against videogames are completely idiotic. If there actually was a substantial argument that showed that video games were dangerous, evil, etc, someone would have introduced them to the media by now.

Let me be a bit more clear then. Someone less idiodic would take his place which would make it easier to convince people to follow his views. Since Thomas is such an idiot people percieve his views as idiodic, if someone well known who made themselves look intelegent it would be easier to convince people. That guy could do damage.

I suppose I can't say I hate him since I don't know him. I can recognize that he is just trying to get money by arguing with what a small group of soccer-moms hate, but I also recognize that he does it INCREDIBLY TERRIBLY. False information, foolish assumptions, darn-right COLD insults, GUH... What a butt.

You know what's worse than Jack Thompson?
People bringing him up months after he's ever said or done anything worth mentioning.

Jack recently (don't know how recently) got a penalty program set up so that game companies are fined 10,000 bucks for each thing that's in a game that's not mentioned on the ESRB rating part of the packaging.

Jack also stated that the only people who murder people are psychos and video gamers, I have half a nerve to summon Pokemon after him and attack him with Shinkuuhadoukens and Ride the Lightning :rolleyes2:

People should just stop listening to him, he's like the little retarded kid from the remedial class at high school, you give him a little attention and he keeps bugging you, bu if you just ignore him he'll go away.

I've never paid much attention to him. He's an idiot. There's no real reason to say much more than that.

I dont know anything about this man but some of those quotes were very entertaining, although it worries me if he is being entirely serious with what he says :S

Well, the man is so misinformed and entirely stupid that he doesn't need hatred. I do think he should be disbarred and silenced, so we don't have to hear any more of his bull.

I just wish somebody could have a debate with him on television and ridicule him in front of millions to show how much of an idiot he is. I did write an Uncyclopedia article on him, though.

There was once some guy who posted on a Metal Gear Solid message board who killed himself due to depression. Jack then decided to blame his suicide on Metal Gear Solid 2. So by his logic I can be playing Resident Evil 2, then decide to go take a shower, slip on a bar of soap, break my leg, then blame Capcom on it.
