Clearly this is a waste of my time (going back and forth about 2 bands i really don't care about and only listen to their music to get my Chica in the mood)

all the rest are not goin on album ... just songs i had alot of fun working on and decided to put up.

It's not selling out unless you change your art (Be it music, writing, whatever) to get more money. And even that's usually understandable - unless it changed the meaning of my book, I'd change a few things if it'd get me £50,000 more or something. So would most of us. And of course, it only actually matters if you change it if it becomes worse, which is a fairly subjective standard anyway.

Besides, if someone's making millions of dollars I really don't think they care if they're accused of being sellouts.

Okay first off, it's very heard to correctly read and understand what you are typing when your sentence structure, grammar, etc is God-awful. You dont help me understand you when you type like a seventh-grade flukie. You talk all high and mighty about how we have no reading comprehention, when you have absolutly no writing skills at all. When you put a complete sentences on two different lines, I get confused, I'm sorry. I have this thing where I read like a normal person that screws with me everytime someone without typing skills comes onto the internet. In any case, the sentence "If you or your music suck then you're selling out, and not that you are a mediocre musician and making money. Money doesn't give you talent, but talent makes money." I agree with the second point, yes. That part is pretty obvious. But, I can't make heads or tails of your first point. From what I can infer through my reading comprehention, (Which I scored in the 96th percentile in High School, so shut up about that), you say in a litteral sense "If you are a bad musician, you are a sellout, and not that you are average and making money" I still don't get it. Can you please re-word this for me?

I am listening to you music right now. I was intregued, specially since you label it as Industrial, which I love.
I promise you I am listening to it unbiased as I can possibly get. Before I start please remember the term contructive criticism. I'm not bagging on you. I'm giving you my honest opinion.

Dryf**k: I'm listening it it and it seem to be very disjointed and confusing. It is very hard hitting, which is great but it just sounds like a mess. It defiantly needs to be cleaned up and composed a little bit more, so that it flows. You're obviously NIN influenced, among others, and with Trent, his songs do at times go off an confusing tangents, but they always fall back in place to rock it out. Dryf**k sounds like a jumble of jams trying to fit together but not quite making it. I'm not too impressed by this one, I'm sorry to say.

Come Back Lunacy: This one flows a little better than the previous one, but again, nothing I'm too impressed by. It just seems lacking... something. I'm sorry I don't know what though. I can defiantly hear the sense of embedding madness you're trying to convey, but again it feels like it lacking something. I was thinking maybe some distorted guitar riffs in the background to complement the keyboard. Also, I think if you sped up the tempo a little it's give you more of that "I'm going smurfin' nuts here" feeling. Or perhaps progressively speed it up, y'know?

I skipped down a few. I'm not going to listen to them all, since I need sleep.

Knowledge: The beginning was a little slow, and I was thinking "Borrrrring", then the guitar riff came in, and I began to get into it. It was a good riff! Then it goes away. to more slow beats. Then picks up, then drops off. I'm not saying this is a bad thing, except it happens to quickly. As soon and I start getting into one part of the song, it stops and goes to something completely different, and it becomes very annoying. The trasitions don't flow that well either which bugged me a little. I think I liked this song best so far, but it's still pretty meh. The voices were pretty odd. I mean the far that they were so high and so low made them seem kind of comical and ultimatly took away from the overall song. Again, I feel this song could be a little bit more composed and cleaned up, and could be something good after that.

Metal Anarchy: Do you use a drum machine? I think if you used real drums, you could make these songs a lot better. This song would defiantly benefit from a ton more bass. Again the lowered and goofy mixing of the vocals and really took away from the song. I actually liked this one sans the drum machine and and vocals.

And that's all I want to listen to for now. It's not bad, but it's nothing I'd put on my iPod or anything.

The big point here lies in what comes first, the music or the cash. Honestly, the best way i can explain is to not even use music in the example.

Miami Ink. Miami Ink is the epitomy of the "sell out" description. Oh, we love the tattoo culture, and we love art, and we respect our clients. Anyone that's in south florida get a picture, and take it to Miami Ink and ask for a price quote for it. Now walk out of the shop. Go two blocks down, to Mosh Pit tattoo and piercing. get a price quote. Now LAUGH. LAUGH hard at Miami Ink's absurd price quote, which i GUARANTEE will be at LEAST double, possibly as much as 10 times the quote from mosh pit. now, just to prove the point, go to Waldo's tattoo in Little Haiti. walk South Beach and get quotes. all of them will be fairly similar, except for Miami Ink's. Miami Ink's work is no better, and they should actually be cheaper IMO, they're getting paid an assload by TLC for that retarded show anyway, that should help bring down the fee's for average joe tattoo guy. bottom line is, Those guys tattoo to MAKE MONEY, not because they love the art. They opened a shop, and had lined up a TV show before it even opened. They've been in operation less than a Two Years, and they're all young bucks in the tattoo game, yet they act as if they can charge 10x more for a tat than anyone else regardless of age, talent, history, or shop reputation.


That's what makes a sell out. Money over art, or Art over Money. Roger Waters is a douche, but when he sold overpriced tickets to the Wall, it was because the show production cost that much, not because he wanted to line his pockets. When U2 or Madonna have these absurd ticket prices for a concert with little more than standard lights and pyrotechnics? Sell Outs.
