They don't care about the R=U theory. For them it's probably a bunch of crazy people that took the game too seriously.Quote:

You can't say that square lied to us just because you THINK they are wrong!

Viator you make me laugh with all of the BS you come out with. I can't believe you said the creators were wrong about the game that they created. If they say that sorceresses have the same life span as humans then surprise surprise they have the same life spans as humans. And if the creators say that PuPu is the hero of the game then PuPu is the hero of the game. Whatever the creators say about the games they created is fact not theory. The BS you come out with is a theory not fact. Well I hope that sorts that out.
The relevant Ultimania information can be viewed here:

As translated by DarkAngel, this is what it says:
"Sorceresses
Said to have existed from time immemorial to the present day, the sorceresses are women who are said to have received their powers
from the old god, Hyne. There is, however, no hard evidence to support this claim. Extraordinarily powerful, many sorceresses have harboured ambitions to rule over the world -- as a result, many people have come to equate the Sorceress with fear. However, there are also many Sorceresses who have chosen to live a quiet life sheltered away from civilized society; as such, the actual number of Sorceresses and the amount of power shared between them remains unknown.
The potential to become a sorceress is determined by one's capacity to wield such power -- their natural affinity for magic. This factor helps to determine Sorceress candidates for when a Sorceress passes on all of her power into the next Sorceress. The giving and receiving of power can be made between any two individuals -- it is not necessary for them to be related by blood. A Sorceress' lifespan is the same as a normal human's, however they cannot die until they have passed on their power to the next Sorceress."
Since every sorceress we fight give up their powers directly after being defeated, and judging by Ultimecia giving up her powers in the ending despite her defiant "I cannot die yet!" it seems clear that a dying sorceress is forced by her body to give up her powers after some time so it can die in peace.
Of course, Viator will claim this fact is wrong, so there we are.
I had a feeling that good ol' Sir B would come along with that. Thanks!
I think I may possibly know what it may mean.
"the one" and "generations" = Ultimecia, in the bodies of other sorceresses who have been condemned for generations, BUT it was Ultimecia! SO really it was just one sorceress but nobody knew. Just maybe. Makes sense.
^ Viator, take note. This is an example of a theory which does not contradict observed information, NOR does it violate the principle of parsimony.
I'd just say that she was using 'The Sorceress' to represent sorceresses throughout time, like some of the others.
Or, generations could mean the different age groups.
For example:
Grandparents = 1st generation
Parents = 2nd generation
Children = 3rd generation
Too many possibilities, but it doesn't even matter, because Viator already ditched this thread because he lost. =D
Viator reminds me of Crocker from The Fairly Oddparents.
There's one key difference. Crocker was right.
lol yeah but still. they're both kinda nutty I think.
Or they did know and were fighting her. After all it said when you get to Ultimacia's Castle that the seeds are fighting her all through time or something like that? (anyone have the exact quote?) I bet she was really sick of seeds.Quote:

Sorceress has Hyne's power and Hyne's power of cource can make sorceress lives longer than human like Hyne himsellf.
