No offense, but how can you not get four? "find x," which is usually interpreted as "solve for x" is taken literally in four. The student "found" x.Quote:

The third one is the best, especially the "Very funny peter." part.
I loved the "find X" one. :D I'll have to use that.
My favorite math joke-
There are 10 kinds of people- those who understand binary, and those who don't. ;)

Hell, my mother sent me this. Must be a new fad.
Shoot. I only get the second one T_T
lol, they were all funny xD
the halloween & christmas one made me actually laugh out loud.
#1) The student cancelled the n in the abbreviation of "Sine" like it was a variable in the equation. Instead of one over n times sine of x, they treated it like it was one over n times s times i times n times x. So then, they scooted the new one times s times i next to the x, to make one times six, which obviously equals six :]Quote:

People have explained #4 :]
#5, the girl confused infinity with a sideways 8, so instead of writing the real answer to the "limit of x as it approaches five in the expression 1 one x minus 5' or whatever, she wrote a sideways five.
