Windows has always worked fine for me, so I actually like it quite a bit... But if my computer crashes at some point I'd probably be the first to complain about Windows, though

I'm going to have a linux box, once I get a new box that is, because it's a better bet for non-gaming stuff. Although I hear good things about WINE, but I don't want to install Linux and then discover those good things were lies.
Point is: I know what I'm talking about.
Linux is annoying if you're not willing to do command line work. That applies to most people and I don't blame them.
Mac > Windows
You heard...
I have. Linux is a nice operating system (in my case, specifically, Suse Linux ). The only major problems I have with Linux is the shell commands and the bootloaders. I've had enough DOS commands to last a lifetime; I don't want to have to learn another mountain of Linux commands.
Plus, the bootloaders suck - both Grub and Lilo. At least with Windows you can modify the bootloaders easily with the Boot.ini file. If you use a Linux bootloader then you're stuck with it for life - even if you remove Linux from your system.
For me, nothing beats Windows. :)
Redhat's the sucky of the linux bunch though :p You should try Ubuntu for evaluating linux for a desktop user :p
Yes I hate windows! Bringing in sunlight! PURE EVIL!
I like windows, it lets me go on the computer.
