I'm not putting a mathematical formula on love, I'm putting a mathematical formula on what I'd consider "normal" age gaps. Saying "20 years" or "5 years" is just silly, because age differences get less and less important the older you get. The age difference between a 60 and a 70 year old is a lot less than the age difference between 20 and 30. Or lol, 10 and 20.
To be honest though, I don't really care how big the age gap is, as long as they're both past the age of consent.
So in ten thousand years we're going to have people asking like "I've met this amazing guy, he's 9,974 years old, but I'm only 23! What do I do?"
I'm 19, and I would date a ~25 year old guy at highest. ^_^ I said 5-7 years.
However, for younger guys... I would NOT go lower than 19. 19 is okay if he's older than me. If he's younger than me, even by like a month, that's pretty iffy. 18 is just, no xD

Love may not have an age but the law sure as hell does. As long as they are legal, I could really care less.

i am 20 and could see myself with someone 27 or so, but as the pole says, that's pushing it.
I'm 22, and my boyfriend just turned 20 on Wednsday. :)
So, I guess I have a 2 and a half year buffer either way...all of my boyfriends have been younger than me.
I went on a few dates with a 26 year old when I was 19. So that's 7, but honestly, I could never initiate a relationship with that much of an age gap. In this case I just didn't say no. I think my relationship gap, currently, is 3 years older and 2 years younger. Emphasis on the word relationship.
