Medium rare is the only way to go.

Medium rare....medium at the most. Anything more than that destroys the steak.

Yaoi is a special type of steak only available in Japan. So be sure to try it if you go there! Ask specifically for it! Don't let them try to sell you any "yuri" or "hentai" or "Kobe"

I've never tried yaoi, ever, and I probably wont ever go to Japan so I'm going to answer the question as if it IS a normal steak: medium, I like a bit of pink/red in the middle, but not bloody please.

I used to be a big fan of Well-Done, mainly because my mother liked telling me horror stories involving rare meat and Tapeworms making me slowly starve to death.

It wasn't until much later that I realized how dry Well-Done steak actually tasted, and I was introduced into the world of medium. I'm too traumatized to go any rarer than that, though. :cry:

I barely know the terms, but I like all of them, except the steaks that taste like ham.
