Thats why God gave you a brain, so you could use it. These noobs are actually super-smart. They post like that to make you think, and see if your intelligent enough to decode the hidden message. Unfortunately, its about pancakes.

You don't feel superior to a sewer rat? How low must your self-esteem be?
I R TEH TXT KNG! But this is spam, so I'm going to write this:
I don't like people who don't write properly. Not in the sense that I don't like them personally, I just hate their style of writing. Especially things like "laterz" or "l8er". That's pointless, on one you've saved yourself one letter, and on the other you've given yourself an extra letter to type. Imbecile.
Low enough my friend......low enough......:(
as for people who have now grasp of the english language (as its meant to be anyway) i advise to proceed to the nearest education facility and proceed with "reprogramming".....i will pray for your souls....
Obviously it isn't a problem for others, but I get rather annoyed when the topic seems to be promising, and then the poster muddles what the topic is about with gibberish spelled out in random characters. *shudders* sure, we all have our share of spelling errors, but when people do entire posts that way I don't want to be online ever again.. The I get bored and do get online.
To the people writing the the "Txt" style: Keep it legible!
Firstly, it's "newbie". There is nothing more "n00b" than saying "n00b". Get with the times, people!
Secondly, I'm surprised nobody has pointed out that since FFXII has just been released, one can expect an influx of new members.
"Newbie" denotes a new member, most likely not "new" to the community forum aspect of the Internet. These people are well-balanced and their only real flaw is that they joined after you did. "n00b" refers to a new member who is oblivious to the rules and practices of community forums in general. These people have grammatical skills akin to the children who just got off the short bus.
It's still stupid to call them something with a couple of zero's in the middle of it. It's not like we're trying to avoid a filter or anything. If they were to come up with a better name then I'd accept it more openly. I would rather 'noob' than 'n00b' (although I also find 'noob' to be a word that I would expect to be used by the dumbest of high school bullies rather than intelligent members of this forum).
what about nub nub
Another flaw of the newbie is that he/she sympathizes with n00bs.
I find that this problem has always occured and is a natural element to any message board. The easiest way around it is to ignore all their posts and filter all their messages out of ones sight.
Normally I would have ignored even this thread.
:)

All this internet is overwhelming!
