Between Fran and Ashe...my Fran is better but I like Ashe more
Oh btw...when i got Penelo with my 650 lps on her...i got her all the way to the Zodiac Estruchen so i decided to say..."Penelo, you carry all our stuff while we go fight the big bad monster, ok?" :p
I like all three women, which is a first, as I really just liked Krile in FF5 and was "meh" on Reina and Faris, just liked Terra and Relm in FF6 and was "meh" on Celes, just liked Yuffie in FF6, and was "meh" on Tifa and Aeris, was really "meh" on Rinoa, Quistis, and Selphie in FF8 (no one in that game really wowed me except for maybe Zell), just liked Freya and Eiko in FF9 and first was "meh," and then grew distasteful of, Garnet, and just liked Yuna and Rikku in FF10 and was sort of "meh" about Lulu.
So, yeah, I really do like all the women in this game. My favorite, personality-wise, is Penelo. Battle-wise, Ashe and Fran are actively fighting for the title. But once more, I truly do like all three of them.
Fran, clearly.
1.) She is a Viera. Viera are the coolest. Making Fran cool.
2.) Her "partner" is Balthier, the sexy hunk of skypirate we've all come to love. Only someone as cool as Fran could bag that mancandy.
3.) She has the best voice in the ENTIRE game. Maybe even the universe. Squeenix should make a CD of just Fran talking for hours...I'd so buy that.
4.) She totally kicks ass. Especially on Shiva when the Mist went all crazy-like. And even in her Quickenings. I mean, no average person could jump and kick that much in stilettos.
There are numerous more reasons, those are just the most obvious.
