It makes you wonder: If they lived long enough to feel the effects of the Shish KaBOB, would they have turned? Maybe cooking it is legit.

Glenn pointed out that Jim from season 1 was bit for a while before he finally turned. The smaller bites tend to take more time to spread.

I don't think anyone doubted that as soon as Rick said he was going to kill Gareth with that machete, that was exactly what was going to happen. I was kind of hoping that at some point through the scenes it would have been discussed that the other Terminus guy threatened to kill Judith, but maybe the dialogue would have been too forced.

Aside from the fact that he had his fingers blown off, I think Gareth was still desperately hoping that there was some way he could talk his way out of it instead of going down in a blaze of glory. He might have also known that simply reaching for it would be enough to make them put him down faster.

So who's with Daryl? I hope it's Morgan. Who else would hide in the bushes?

O_O Say it ain't so, bro! I love cliffhangers, but cliffhangers + side-story diversions or off weeks are annoying.

Morgan's the likely candidate. I can't think of anyone that's still alive that Daryl would want to keep secret at first. I think it's purposeful that it's Michonne on watch when this happens, because the reveal would only make sense for her, Rick, or Carl. Nobody else knows who he is by sight, so there would be no shock-factor. I'm guessing Morgan's already told Daryl who he is and his relationship to Rick, and that's why Daryl is wary.

Yeah it's probably Morgan, but then what happened to Carol?

I hate when they split the group up like this. Maggie not trying to stay behnind to determine the fate of her sister makes no sense.

I'm glad they handled the end of the cannibals exactly like I hoped they would. The season is moving at a nice pace.

Most likely. I don't see how anyone could believe it's Beth. It literally says in the trailer that she's still there meaning that it won't be a flashback. I think Carol might have been taken. It's highly unlikely given that she is basically Rambo, but I just don't think it's her. Morgan is definitely the most likely or it's one of the people who took Beth.

Also Gareth is retarded. Dumbest villain I've seen in a while. Yes, let's go in there just because it looked like they left to go off for a while and have no one waiting outside to check our cover. He deserved to die on his dumbness, cannibalism, and then also because he monologues. smurf his monologues. Glad his character is gone so we can get to the real deliciously evil people awaiting us.

Daryl has never met Morgan, guys. I am sure he knows of him but not enough to invite him back to camp. Remember, the last time Rick, Carl and Michonne saw Morgan he was nuts.

I'm guessing Daryl and Carol ran into Morgan somehow in connection with Beth or her captors. Morgan mentions he's looking for a guy named Rick, and explains some of their background. Daryl is wary but thinks it might be okay to bring him back, especially if he maybe has information about Beth. Carol stays behind to keep an eye on the Beth-captors.

Morgan was nuts, but he didn't seem nuts in the post-credit scene after episode 5.1, and definitely seemed to be looking for Rick, or at least other people. It is possible for people to come back from losing their minds. He was temporarily insane, but there was nothing to indicate it was permanent.

Maybe it's one of the new cast members. Tyler James Williams? Personally, I'm looking forward to The Walking Dead/Everybody Hates Chris crossover memes.

Yeah, mostly accurate, but he was sort of getting better with his compassion at the prison when Herschel was still alive. He lost all trust in people after the encounter with the rapists. Still I think Carol changed the most drastically out of all the characters.

My thoughts exactly. I'm really glad Beth is back on the show and we got rid of the attempted rapist on the episode he was introduced. Don't get me wrong, it makes for a suspenseful show, but it made me concerned as an added burden on Beth, on top of being slapped for no reason. I don't want anything to happen to her, it's super stressful haha

As soon as Beth and Carol get out, I'm fine with that whole place imploding on itself. I don't trust the supposedly nice doctor, and at this point I don't think I could feel sympathy for their leader, Dawn, even if she ends up having a backstory that points out she's a trapped victim doing her job like the rest of them. We'll see what's to come of that.

I imagine something really huge is going to happen next week. The previews show Abraham breaking down and crying.

I finally started streaming this show on Netflix (btw I have Netflix now). Left off on season three. I still have some ways to go to play catchup. Before that I only played the Telltale games. Still haven't read the comics yet. My mom wasn't kidding when she said they didn't swear nearly as much on the show as they do the games. I like Rick the best. I want his gun.

I need silence when I'm watching the show, but afterwords I check out the story sync just to see what interesting questions and stillshots they've put up:

One of the most interesting things about this weeks episode is seeing the vehicles with the crosses on them in the hospital parking lot. It means their whole "we found you on the side of the road and now you owe us" story is complete bs. They trick people into staying there.

Definitely has to be Noah with Daryl now though I'm still not ruling out Morgan. Not surprised that Beth didn't escape, but kind of smurfed up that a person with a hurt leg can manage to escape and you can't with a gun. Wtf, Beth? Also that female cop is the worse ever. I like the cop died after Beth hit him with the glass of lollies. I said before that happened how awesome it would be if he died by lolly and zombie bite. Would have been even awesomer if it his entire body was mangled. smurf that guy.

Bob's replacement black guy is a definite upgrade. I do hope it's him with Daryl. I really like this season so far!

I don't understand the trope of "lose a black guy, gain a black guy" in a show with 6 black characters. They've done an excellent job of blowing that tired joke out of the water. You might have had a case when T-Dog bowed out and Tyreese showed up (if you overlook Oscar) as the joke stems from "token black guy", but now it's just redundant.

You're right and the joke's been dead for awhile, but I still think it's funny.

That is correct, but there's a half truth to the joke. SAG does have minority requirements for all union shows. They must meet criteria of having a minority character, this oddly enough includes women even though women are a majority. It also includes elderly. It's basically Affirmative Action. The Walking Dead is the only show that has managed to have such a diverse primary cast.

I think it was poorly written in the first place, and then poorly acted by Emily and also poorly edited. That's a lot of poorly. I actually wondered about these things too. It still makes no sense to me how Beth, who is a great shot was not able to get away from the zombies, and yet a guy limping was. No sense. They needed better blocking or something where it would have made sense instead of him walking right through the zombies.

Abraham has p.much the opposite story of Rick. Which just makes me due inside.

I think Abraham and Rick are more alike than the show and the characters themselves let on. They're both pretty unraveled, leaders, strong physical survival capability but completely dependent on other people for their own emotional survival.

The Walking Dead has zombies in it.

Based on my knowledge of the comics as well as what they discussed on Talking Dead, I can explain Abraham's flashbacks for people who don't quite get what's going on.

I'll spoiler tag it in case you want to see if they explain it further in a future episode, but I don't think they will.

Explanation of Abraham's back storyAbraham and his family were surviving the apocalypse with his friends/neighbors. As the story goes his family was raped while he was out on a supply run. The guy you see him beating the trout out of with a can of food is a guy he thought he could trust. Abraham beat the guy to a pulp and killed him viciously, and his family was watching. They were very terrified as they were seeing this relentless brutal soldier/monster in action and were afraid of him. They left and by the time he found them, it was too late.

I knew Eugene was dodgy! It was all a bit vague when he was talking about the cure. I do like Abraham but he just needs to chill out a bit. We'll see how he copes now he has nothing to fight for.

I was on The Walking Dead Facebook page and I happened across a few people in the comment section of a post going back and forth about how they perceived Beth in the comics. One guy said "she's much more snobby in the comics" and another guy said "she's more shy" or something, and they kept going back and forth.

Except there's just one problem. Beth isn't in the comics at all.

I was going to interject but I decided not to. They had embarrassed themselves enough without my help.

She wasn't even there as one of the random Hershel children that got killed?

Seven children and not one of them named Beth.

Continuing this thread in the Facebook group was a lot of fun.

A lot of people are drawing speculation on who they think is going to die tomorrow.

I think it's Beth. It hurts to say it and I hope I'm wrong because I really enjoyed her character development in season 4 and I think her evolution shows in how she reacts inside Grady Memorial. She has really evolved emotionally. She went from slitting her wrists because she thought she wanted to die, to killing a guy who tried to sexually assault her, and despite having her face on the ground as she tried to escape, she smiled anyway. She's not the obvious choice for death that she could have been seen as in season 3, and this season has thrown a lot of curve balls at us on what could happen.

Carol is certainly a top notch contender, but it almost feels like the obvious answer. She's received a lot of screen time, redemption, and she's currently in a hospital bed. I don't think she'll make it into season 6 but she'll live through tomorrow.

Ok. Look I was expecting this. I was honestly expecting worse. As in more deaths of main characters.

I was NOT EXPECTING MAGGIE TO FIND OUT BETH WAS ALIVE AND MAKE A SPEED RUN TRYING TO REACH HER ONLY TO HAVE HER SEE BETH'S LIFELESS BODY MERE MOMENTS AFTER HER DEATH.

But I can deal with it. I can cope with the fact that Beth died proving a point, proving that the dangerous world she was going back to was better than slavery in Grady.

You know what I can't deal with? Stupid Talking Dead's message during the "In Memoriam" segment that read something like "The only comfort we take after your death is the knowledge that you'll soon be in your father's arms."

I am pretty satisfied with this season finale because I didn't get any feels unlike last season where an old dude was beheaded that was smurfing brutal. Carol is alive, Dawn is dead (lol Dawn Dead) and it was just announced that Daryl is straight.

I don't feel like I should have to avoid checking Facebook while I'm at my in-laws' just in case someone decided to spoil an episode of something before I could get home. Like a week later, maybe. But immediately after?

Fortunately I couldn't remember who Shiny said was going to die, so I wasn't fussed.

The episode was spoiled yet the world existed for another day.

Wtf Beth? Her stupid action could have resulted in a total gunfight with lots of people dying. They're so lucky it ended with just the two of them, her and copy lady, dying. Beth was growing on me but then she had to go and be a dummy. Felt bad for Maggie though.

Welp, I knew a black guy would die. Turns out it was Bob and unfortunately not the dumb priest with beautiful eyelashes and thankfully not Tyreese.

I had no idea Beth was going to die until the beginning of the last episode, I just knew it was going to be a beloved character so that left me with very little choices: Daryl, Carol, Beth, and Tyreese, and Michonne perhaps (Rick isn't dying people no). When Dawn and her had the conversation of her staying. I just knew Dawn wouldn't let her leave without killing her. I didn't however like how Beth's death was handled. Was she aiming for her jugular and missed? Why with scissors when she could have probably easily found a better weapon in a hospital with cops? Why was Dawn's gun already pointing towards her head when she leaned in? Why didn't they just shoot Dawn -- no one (not even her own people) liked her?

None of the season finale really was that well written, but I understand and accept that they made this definitive choice before this season even began as we see set-ups of it.

I am usually super strict about spoilers, so I was semi-discreet, but I'm also a lot more lax with my Walking Dead spoilers mostly because Walking Dead-AMC social media pages themselves reveal spoilers way before the air in the West Coast and UK. I find that odd but because of that it makes it pretty pointless for me to be super secretive about it on FB. It should be known by now that you avoid FB and twitter like the plague until you have watched the episode and also that you fail at life because you live in the wrong part of the world.

For anyone wondering why Seasons 2 & 3 of The Walking Dead were so-so, it's entirely AMC's fault for being so troutty. Despite the millions and millions of dollars The Walking Dead has made them in the first season alone, their execs decided it would be cheaper to film in one location the entire time and drag it out while also cutting people's salaries, firing Darabont (director of such greats as The Green Mile), and dragging out the Herschel's farm storyline. I'm only glad this season they were a lot less cheap.

I may eventually try them, but I've been watching the original on my phone and everyone I know keeps talking about the new episodes. I don't want them to ruin anything for me, and yes I know where I'm posting this in doesn't help, I just skip to the very end without reading anything else.

Finished everything that's been aired. I swear I want to cuss on here so bad because I'm so mad. The final episode better have been a nightmare for one of them.

Can’t wait for the second half of The Waling Dead fifth season that is gonna air on Feb 8 :cool:

Over the last 3 or so months I've watched from Season 1 all the way to where it currently is, mid way through Season 5. Finally got to browse the whole thread

Even though the show can be fairly hit and miss, I've gotten so obsessed with it! Season 1 is certainly my favourite, and I'd even say the first ever episode could possibly be my favourite episode of them all. Each season has had its good points (some less than others), but I don't think any of them top the first yet.

I'm surprised that the first half of Season 4 didn't get more hate in the thread, it was hands down the stupidest part of TWD thus far, and I'm so glad that since then the show has been pretty much uphill, and I'd say it's currently the best it's been in a long while.

As for favourite characters - Rick (obviously), Daryl (obviously), I did really like Glenn in Season 1, but my god his character has gotten so bad, both him and Maggie with this ott l-o-v-e they have going on. It was laughable when she was so obsessed with finding Glenn on the way to Terminus, and never once mentioned her sister.
Carl is hit and miss for me, seems to depend on the episode, Carol has had some awesome character growth throughout the show and is certainly one of my favourites now.

Also, I just finished Season 1 of TWD game by Telltale. Man, that was better than 99% of the actual show.

Really hard to condense my thoughts on all five seasons and the game in one post!

Fun news for some people, direct tv is doing an Internet service subscription much like Hulu where you will be able to watch a lot of cable channels for only $20 a month. I swear I'm not sponsoring them. :shifty:

Well I wouldn't be surprised since it's Direct TV we're talking about. They've threatens to ghost AMC before many times, but apparently it's AMC that are the ones who threatened to ghost Direct TV? O_o I really don't know, but I know they're at odds.

All of my tears. The only thing that would've made this episode harder to bear would've been if Hershel's head showed up in Tyreese's feverdream.

And POOR SASHA. That's all I can think now is poor Sasha. I'm going to a comic convention next month where Sonequa Martin-Green will be a guest and I might just bring her a sympathy card.

And also foreshadowing. D: So many of my friends are dead and so many are gonna die. I hate this show and I love this show.

I really enjoy that they showed us a scene out of context in the beginning. We randomly see blood spill on a picture and only later figure it out. This is something we haven't really seen since season 2 ie when Shane shaves his head in the fogged up mirror and we don't really get it until later in the episode.

There have been good episodes of this show and bad episodes. Even with the bad ones, I felt that it wasn't a complete waste of time.

I would be with you, Del, except that I love Tyreese. I really need to stop getting attached to non-safe characters. :(

If I'm honest, I didn't really enjoy the whole Tyreese dream sequence. I don't know, bring dead characters back in dreams really grates on me for some reason. I thought the twist on the funeral (which you assumed was for Beth) was great though.

Overall, not one of my favourites. Other than Noah being upset about his home being overrun, not a lot happens really. It was almost like the writers thought "OK, so we're gonna kill off another character. Let's just waste an entire episode building it up with dream sequences and flashbacks."

I'm sure next weeks will be better.

The only thing I could hope for was someone asking Noah if it was worth the fit. Every time someone throws a tantrum somebody gets hurt.

I think the way they are going is killing off all the "light", or hopeful people, so that end the end everyone is dead.

Not a good start for me, but I think that's just because I was never a fan of Tyreese, as much as I wanted to be. I can see why others would have liked the episode. The only part I didn't like was the credits coming up while hearing the soil being shovelled, I thought that was a little over the top.

I think next week will be great though, I saw a few references to 'wolves' or something, guess they could be the next antagonists. Comic book spoilers behind tags remember, just in case!

I don't remember wolves being an enemy in the comic book anyway. It'd be awesome if they continued the theme of picking characters and enemies that aren't in the comics.

I got Sasha. Feels for Maggie and Sasha right now. Both lost siblings very recently because of stupid Noah. ;__;

This episode was terrible, not a waste of time because there was definitely a point and set-up for it, but whoever directed it was trying too hard to make the entire episode feel dream-like. It took me away from the tone of every other episode in the series.

If they're going to kill off black guys like they normally do kill off Noah's character. Everybody Hates Noah.

In regards to the wolves...Almost every antagonists were from the comics or very similar with a few exceptions. Honestly I feel they should stick to pulling antagonists from the comics because the ones they make up or change a bit, end of being underdeveloped. Dawn was a trout character.

Tryese was one of my favorite characters but I feel like he was dumb in a Herschel way. Too pure for this type of world. Rick used to be like that but realized he had to change or he'd be jeopardizing not only his safety, but the safety of those following him. This is why I feel nothing when characters like this die because it really is inevitable. Tyrese, T-dog or whatever dumb name he had, Herschel, Beth you have to see the pattern. And if you're too bad, you will also die. Need to have a happy medium. I suspect to see more good souls dying this season...

I'm glad to see this season has really picked up the pace compared to last season. Remember when people thought we'd be spending the first 8 episodes in Terminus? I figured the road trip to Noah's place would have been at least 3 episodes. It was nice to see the old characters back and I enjoyed how surreal this episode was. Moving along nicely.

An idea I thought would be interesting would be if tyreese started attacking his illusions, and it actually ended up being Rick and the group. Kind of a new way to look at the undead.

I also interpreted his hallucinations as everything he felt guilty for doing or not doing for people who counted on him. If he hadn't trusted the Governor at all the Governor would've had less information about the prison group to work with down the line. If he had killed Martin the Terminus survivors probably wouldn't have found them and wouldn't have killed Bob. If he had paid closer attention to Lizzie's obvious mental problems Meeka might've survived.

I think Tyreese's character and his dead was really supposed to serve as a foil for Beth and a counterpoint to her death. While both characters represented hope for the future, support for their fellow group members, we saw Beth find herself in Grady Memorial. She learned who she really was, what mattered to her and what she was made of. She learned to adapt to the new world, even though she was small and young. And Tyreese was a knowledgeable, big man who by his own account listened to the news to "be a good citizen of the world," but honestly couldn't cope with the things that happened to him very well. He wasn't a weak character or a weak person - he just had a harder time coping with the violence that survivors of this world were perpetrating against each other. I think the end of the episode, when he asks them to turn the radio off, he's accepting that it's ok to die and it's ok not to struggle anymore.

One of the reasons I think people dislike this episode is because the acceptance of death is disquieting. We're hardwired to pursue, to push forward, to give everything we have in order to survive - but Tyreese was never willing give up his integrity for the sake of survival. While he does die of blood loss, his hallucinations show us he passes on his own terms. He's struggled with the good and the bad, the guilt and the relief, and he chooses (for lack of a better term) Heaven. He deems himself worth of the good and not the bad, even though he didn't save his friends or seek vengeance for Karen. That kind of introspection, even if it is at the hands of hallucination, demonstrates strength of character.

I thought last week was a good transition episode, and I thought having it lead into this week's episode that follows Maggie, Sasha and Daryl as they struggle with loss was a good idea.

Something I really enjoyed about this week's episode is that it somehow focused on three characters (Maggie, Sasha, Daryl) yet within the context of a group setting. These are people who have felt significant personal losses in the past two episodes and it's interesting to see how everyone copes in their own way.

I loved the representation of teamwork in the barn when they were barring the doors.

I don't think that clean dude is a cannibal. It seems like they are more likely to be a part of a scavenger group and are responsible for murdering the people. I also think they have the dogs or whatever hence the "Wolves". Maybe I'm reaching.

I'm not interested in episodes where the characters 'cope' with loss. The whole damn series is one giant coping with loss. We get it, they're hungry and sad. You could have established this in 15 minutes and then got on with an actual story.

I think the clean dude is an actual good guy. Or I'm just hoping. If it's another one of those 'hey I'm a friend, just kidding I'm actually crazy and want to KILL YOU!' then this show is officially in coasting mode.

This show and it's god damn mothersmurfing terrible pacing. Jesus christ.

Honestly, worse thing about this show is the over use of a crickets sound effect loop. I've been to Georgia and there's no way crickets are that loud in the forest during the day and I can hear it friggin' looping because it's that loud! There are only few times where that sound isn't overbearing in the show. They need to hire another sound person.

The only part of this episode that I was excited about was the barn door scene. I thought stuff was about to get exciting again, but it all died down again.

If the show does keep going as it is then there will be nothing but the constant loops. If it continues down that road it will lose a lot of viewers, and probably get cancelled soon.

It needs a proper shake-up... something new and exciting to happen!

They need to find a bunker somewhere (possibly military) maybe a few main characters die in the confusion. Then the group find out that the military are (somehow) tracking all the zombie activity in South-Eastern USA. We learn about a few military-controlled areas in certain cities. One of the sites are conducting advanced experiments on the infected and we learn a little bit about what's happened.

Either that or Carl gets Carol pregnant.

The good thing is since that guy is really clean hopefully that means he will show them a shower because they've been stank for seasons now. That would also explain beardless Rick.

Anyway, I understand why Rick is so cautious, but I'm glad he decided to go in Alexandria. Judith needs to grow up in an environment with some kind of normalcy. She never would have had a chance if they were scavengers in the woods. Unfortunately the safety of Alexandria is probably not going to last very long. I'm also extremely certain now who the Wolves are and how they will factor in this new story arc and pose a threat to the people of Alexandria. I think I recall the L.L. Bean dude hinted at that by saying, they might be following them. Note, he said they, when he knew only one person was following him. He wasn't talking about his lover. He also called them scavengers.

I totally disagree, I do not need to see another couple in love on this show. We already have Glenn and Maggie, and they don't even handle them well. Glenn began as a fantastic character, who has slowly shrunk into bland irrelevance, and any of Maggie's characterisation seems to play second fiddle to her just being super in love with Glenn (I refer to them trying to find each other on the way to Terminus on how not to handle a couple on tv).

That and I also feel like we have too many people in the group already, if you're going to bring them in I say a few deaths need to occur. Better yet, have Eric go missing/get captured and see how that turns this sweet new Aaron to do anything to try and get him back. The Walking Dead is usually all about people doing whatever they can to survive or protect the ones they love, it just usually happens gradually. To have someone snap from one side to the other would be interesting.

All in all, I did enjoy this episode a lot and think it'll get even better, and I loved the reference to Dale and his RV, Dale was one of my favourite characters!

Maggie I think will show a lot of character development soon. I just feel like she's going through grieving over her loss of her sister so it's hard to get beyond that right now. Glenn on the other hand has been pretty irrelevant. He was the clever one now he's just kind of there. Though don't worry, I am pretty sure someone else is going to die in the 90 minute season finale otherwise that's a total waste of those extra minutes. xD There's too many characters right now to have character development. Peeps gotta get gone.

Things will definitely get smurfed up. I think it's pretty hinted on when they go to Everybody Hates Noah's family's place with what appeared to be murders and the grafitti, etc. All really telling that there's probably violent antagonists pretty close to where they are.

As a comic reader, it's hard for me to make a prediction without foreshadowing. This season has followed the comics really well, maybe more so than any season before it. I feel pretty confident in saying I know how the rest of the season is going to go, but the show has definitely switched up some pivotal moments in the past. With characters such as Daryl, Noah & Sasha not even existing in the books, I'm most anxious to see what's in their future as there's no blueprint.

Oh well, in Talking Dead the actor that plays Rick Grimes even points out that the reason his character went in is because he heard kids playing so it gave him hope that Judith would be able to have some what of a normal life with other children.

I love love, I just don't think the show can pull it off. The love between the group is awesome, and is probably the best part of the show, but I don't think they've done it well between two characters so far, so I don't hold out much hope that they can do it in the future.

Oh man the congress ladys son is a dick and I can see that causing a ton of problems. So glad Glenn punched him. And I like how the girl who cut his hair didn't even mention a husband and he's all creepy like "my wife cut your hair" as he smokes in the darkness.

I'm glad Michonne and Rick are the cops now, maybe that'll easy some of their hesitance with the place. But come on darryl, at least act like you're okay with it so you can figure out the people around there to be better prepared when things do go to trout.

I've been an episode behind for a bit so I've been avoiding this thread but i'm all caught up and current this week.

EDIT: I've just decided that there are other people following the group. They had taken the gun and the girl who climbed the fence who was new to the town is part of that group and she went to meet with them and give them stuff as well as info.

Carl makes an interesting point about not wanting to become weak. This is a world where if you let your guard down, you're done. Despite being behind seemingly secure walls, you're still not able to relax. The other kids ask him if he wants to play video games or shoot pool and it's very off putting to him.

I remember back to season 4 when Rick is tending to his garden and he's listening to music with headphones. That's a bold move in a zombie apocalypse, to have such faith in your walls that you don't mind blocking out sound.

I imagine hearing music for the first time in a world like this would bring me to tears. You hear nothing but flesh eating moans and the concern of your friends for months or years, and then you finally get to hear a tune. Totally blissful.

I'd be down for some video games, but I think you'd almost have to force yourself to go out and look for walkers to kill so you don't lose your edge and remember your situation.

Also, I think Carol made the right move by playing possum and lying while she was being filmed, but I don't think Deanna believes her for a second.

Seeing Rick get a shower and shave made me so happy. <3 Carol was my favorite this episode though.

Good episode in my opinion. After Rick shaved he looked so much younger than before haha.

I think they are reckless with his they run everything, and that will end up making someone will slip.

I'm glad Glenn actually had some good screen time, and show he isn't there to lay down for people. Also did you see Maggie grinning while he did that?

And did you notice how she acted all weak when she took off the gun. Like it was heavy and she wasn't used to carrying it. I don't know how carol became one of my favorites but she has. I used to hate her character.

Daryl was never acclimated with societal norms even before the apocalypse so I don't see that happening now especially after all he has been through. I don't see the people inside being much of a problem because a lot of them will probably die anyway because they're playing it too safe and they're naive.

Congress lady and L.L. Bean made the right choice bringing in what are basically their bodyguards. Eventually they'll have to get that they need to let Rick's group make the choices or they will end up dead. Glenn knows what he's talking about. They're not equals and are definitely more fit for survival.

Also Carol for president. Wolf in sheep's clothing. Daryl's "you look ridiculous." XD

I think it's without question that Alexandria will get smurfed up. Not from the walkers or any other rogue human groups... it will be the group themselves that cause Alexandria's downfall.

Glen touched on it during his VT but they have been out there too long. As much as they all think they want a normal life, I don't think any of them could truly settle there.

The community is clearly a good one. Yes, Deana's son is a bit of a dick but you get dicks in every community. The only unpredictable element in the town now is the one that's just arrived.

If Carol was anyone's favourite character in season one and two, I'd question if they had even watched the show.

Good episode, although I don't like that Congresswoman (I think it's the acting more than the character though), and it was nice to see Glenn become a little more relevant again. Carol playing them was also hilarious!

The girls comic was called something like "Wolf Hunt" which was probably some sort of reference to the group outside she's very obviously with. How did she get in and out so easily without being spotted though? Makes you think if she can do it then why can't anyone from the outside. I'm also curious to know how this group has survived for so long, they don't seem to be very capable.

Yeah, she may be a part of that wolves group or more likely was affiliated with them in some way. More likely: the two people Congress Lady exiled are a part of that group. One has to wonder why "it didn't work out". Congress Lady seems pretty legit.

I think this show seems to be doing a good job at making people believe the threat is within when it is most likely whatever is outside the walls with these wolves people that is probably the problem. Though I do find it weird how she confiscated all of their guns and only give them little guns when they go on runs. Is she trying to conserve ammo or something else?

Also did you notice that the pov of them entering the gates was as if someone were watching them? Yeah I think they are about to get a rude awakening very soon by intruders.

Also it's that time again where I have to remind everyone that another long running character will be dying this season. I have no idea who just got it from my sources. Well I do have an idea but last time I wrongly guessed Carol and it ended up being Beth, so I'm keeping my mouth shut. And Morgan is totally coming back.

Idk it really depends on how much farther north they end up because if Daryl has to wear sleeves I'm not so into it.

Also Rick should not have gotten a haircut or a shirt after his shower.

Norman Reedus is also the second highest paid on the show I beleive. They know people love him. Not that it means anything since many chatacters people loved have died. There is a lot of character development potential for him I don't think it is likely that he will be killed off this season. Michonne totally replaced him as Rick's second hand tho. :(

I don't think so. Michonne, Carol, Daryl and to a lesser extent Glenn all still advise him differently based on their experiences. Michonne is just more suited to help guide the group in Alexandria. And she wants to be inside walls again. She hung up her sword! Daryl doesn't want to stay in; walls make him uncomfortable. I think Rick wants to be on the road again too.

I think the big shebang at then end of this season won't be a huge battle... I think the group is going to split. Some will stay in Alexandria. Some will go back out on the road.

I think it's safe to assume that Jessie doesn't mention having a husband because he's a drunkard or abusive. Every moment he's had with Rick so far has been confrontational in subtle ways. A lot of people are commenting on how Rick is very Shane-like this episode, swooping in on someone else's family.

Notice that the red A on their hands looks like the big red A Gareth put on the church they were hiding in to symbolize the train car they were put in? That could be a hint of some type for things to come. Being behind walls doesn't make you safe, something like that.

The house party was so surreal. I'm glad Sasha called them out on it. They're too complacent.

I'm willing to bet that this whole "you can tell the difference between a good person and a bad person" and "you should be a recruiter" will end up with Daryl bringing Morgan to the group.

A lot of people said it was Carol and Daryl representing Rick's angel and devil, respectively. Yet we have Carol as the cookie monster and Daryl talking gently to Buttons the horse.

Also, Rick is going crazy again. And I'm kind of into it.

Sasha was amazing. I found the whole thing especially weird because a few weeks ago I had a similar dream, where I was in a town where people lived normally in a world where zombies still vastly outnumbered living people. I really need to stop watching The Walking Dead right before bed.

Also, I watched this video on Reedus talking about Daryl's sexuality... and I guess I'd never heard him talk as non-Daryl before because I was not expecting that voice.

The people aren't a threat. Rick's group are the threat right now. Although the Congress Lady needs to stop being silly and let them have guns except maybe not Rick and Carol because they be going ham or going hard in the paint as the youguns say. I have no idea what those things mean but seems like what they're doing.

Michonne was eye smurfing him when she noticed he shaved. *sigh* if only. Rick has already turned in to Shane like 8 episodes ago. I think this show proves that no matter what you shave you will still cut a mother smurfer down with a machete and wanna randomly kill a man because you want to bone her wife. People thought by shaving he was going back to old Rick. He can never go back to old Rick no matter the costume. I don't believe any of them will able to go back to who they were before and the only one who shows improvement is Michonne.

I reckon Carl is gonna start some trout with his new friends and it will all kick off.
