What? No speech? Hmph! I guess I'll have to write something very quickly about these wonderful articles then!

Fashion and Final Fantasy - a surprise contender! An opinion piece from Locky about why the industry should market towards women. Very good argument, and nicely written too! If I do say so myself ;)

A Realm Reborn Impressions - Perhaps the most in-depth review we've had on Eyes on Final Fantasy.... EVER. It was quite clear the effort that went into this review, and our frontsite was made better by it being there!

A Brief History Of - Lone Wolf Leonhart's series, this is a fabulous look at the various classes throughout Final Fantasy. They're always remarkable and just get better and better with each new entry. A worthy contender.

Fan Art Showcase - It's a frontsite staple now. Every Thursday Proto gets this article up for you lot to read it and marvel at the artwork he's selected. It's been going strong for over a year now!

Summon of the Month - Another Locky series, something different which crosses fiction with fact and mythology and mystery, OH MY!! How ever will it end?

Whoever wins, this year we have seen some absolute corkers of articles splashed on our site and there is no doubt that the writers and contributors of the last 6 months have really helped make EoFF a better, more interesting place!

Nicolas
Nicolas is a really fun, easy going guy to chat with. Except when he's not. He can come off a bit rude sometimes, but you can tell he's just joking around and it adds some fun to chat. He is easy to talk to and will chat with anyone who brings up a subject that interests him, which is great for not leaving anyone feeling left out.

noxious.sunshine
noxious.sunshine hasn't been on the forum for very long, but she has already made her presence known. She adds a lot of activity to chat and can be a lot of fun to talk to. She is very friendly and says hello to everyone, making them feel more at home and welcome. She brings a lot of silly and amuxing conversations to the room, as well, which is great.

A.k.a. Mike. When I think fo Mike I think of chat. He is welcoming, fun, silly, and caring. He's always got an ear for someone who needs it, and I, as well as many others, truly appreciate this quality in him. I honestly believe that chat wouldn't be the same without him. There would be a face shapped void, and everyone would be sad___. They wouldn't even be able sadface, because there would be no face to sad.

Pantz
Pantz is a big reason I was so active in chat. He's fun, friendly, welcoming, kind, and silly. He posts amusing links, pics, and videos. He even posted himself "singing" that I whip my hair back and forth song, and I still chuckle when I think about it. He has been a great, supportive friend and I know that a lot of people feel like they can talk to him.

And those are our nominees for Best Chatter. I think these are all great nominees and we're lucky that chat has so many great people. Like, I don't want to take anything away from the staff but they have an award for doing their job it's called the Highwind and Best Editor and it really makes it hard for those handful of other people to get some real tangible credit for the effort they put in.

The two component parts aren't even equal or related to each other. Like are you seriously going to tell me you believe that anyone could win this on the basis of having a real great blog? Hella no. It's gonna be people working their butts off for the front site and those people are more likely than not gonna be editors and while they deserve all the smurfing praise in the world -- don't even get me started on that, I'm saving it for #7 Best Editor -- but like come on guys what about THE LITTLE GUYS.

So I am sure whoever won the award definitely deserves it but the award is still stupid and I hope that come next Ciddies we can see a dramatic shift in life the universe and everything, incl. how we look at blogging, front sites, and uh, stuff. Yeah. Thank you. Now let me catch up on all this stuff I missed because I am a useless trout.

Locky
Locky runs a lot of events, posts a lot of articles, and maintains a very good forum presence. As you can imagine, her started threads are very impressive. They have a lot of responses and interest. Many of them also require a lot of participation, which is great for drumming up activity.

Psychotic
Psychotic has a good number of articles and announcements, which are always great to read. He also has a strong presence in different areas of the forum. His threads are often very amusing and entertaining, and prompt a good amount of discussion.

Shorty
Shorty has less threads in the Final Fantasy section of the forum than some of the other nominees, but she's definitely strong in other areas. She has a lot of fun threads that make people want to post in them. She's also very active in the EC, helping run and organize many of the forum events we love so much.

Spooniest
Spooniest has some controversial threads. He posts a lot in EoEO and a good amount in the lower forms as well. His threads might not always have the most replies, but they sure get people talking!

Jinx
I remember when Jinx joined as fierytempest. She made her presence known and fit right in to the community at an admirable speed. It wasn't long before everyone knew her name, and she knew theirs. She contributes a lot of interesting and funny posts that people enjoy reading.


Locky
Locky is another who came on the site and quickly made friends. She joined shortly before I returned after not having had internet for six months. She hasn't been a member for too long, but already she has contributed a great deal. She writes articles that everyone enjoys, and she runs events, many of which take place in the general forums. The events make the community more involving, fun, and interesting.


Pike
Pike is a member who makes everyone feel welcome and cared for. She is welcoming to everyone, and responds to everyone in a way that makes them feel like they fit in. Which is great for new members. It encourages them to post and grow the community. She makes a lot of interesting threads and posts, and I always look forward to reading what she has to say in the threads.


Psychotic
Psychotic scares me. But his posts are funny and he is friendly if you avoid antagonizing him. I think what he add the most is humor. There are a lot of posts that have made me chuckle in my head, but far fewer that have made me laugh out loud. Psychotic has made a lot of those posts. He brings a unique personality to the forums, and it wouldn't feel the same without him.


Shorty
Shorty has a very strong presence on the forum. She is friends with everybody and engages many people in conversation. She responds to many threads and contributes very positively to a lot of threads, and make it feel like a lighter hearted, friendlier place to post. Her posts are often humorous and amusing, and I, as well as many people, look forward to her input.
