Alrighty-o, who shall go next? Shall Grover give us another riddle?
Take care all.
That's how it goes around these parts. :grover:
someone else can take my place all I know at the moment are FFXI riddles
The main characters of each game from FFVII - FFX?
1. Cloud, FFVII, ex-"SOLDIER".
2. Squall, FFVIII, SeeD, took out Ultimecia's Castle.
3. Zidane, FFIX, rat-tailed joke of a person.
4. Tidus, FFX, guardian and blitzer.
Ah, the Dollet Tower. That makes sense. It wasn't so much an insult to Zidane as just trying to get him to fit within the words of the joke. He is an okay character, in my opinion.
I guess I gotta think up of one now - too many passes is no good.
One for the ladies,
Two for the man.
Three you fight but once,
Four you fight again.
Five once and only,
Six the most you'll see.
Seven means nothing,
But eight are the key.
If your arithmetic is sharp,
Then soon enough you'll see,
This property of their relationship
Is the answer you must give me.
the amount of people u can have in battles and in the main group in ff8!
_________________________________________________
mmmmmmmmm.......pancakes!
You're both about... oooh... 5% there. :)
the amount of people in your party at a time in FFX (you can switch in-between them though)
or FFIV (5 people)
Grover's cracked one line - I'm gonna need a little more than that, though.
Doomsday: :p
How many characters you have is only one part of the riddle.
does it have anything to do with the fact in FFV : (SPOILER) its three females and one male in the party?
Not quite. I see why you're thinking that, but it's more personality-based than that.
does it have to do with the love between Squall and Rinoa?
You're diverging from what you were doing right, though. The personality hint applies most to lines 1 and 2.
This appears to be a toughie. We may need more general hints, to be frank.
Take care all.
Cloud , Aeris, and Tifa relationship?
[q]One for the ladies,
Two for the man.
Three you fight but once,
Four you fight again.
Five once and only,
Six the most you'll see.
Seven means nothing,
But eight are the key.
If your arithmetic is sharp,
Then soon enough you'll see,
This property of their relationship
Is the answer you must give me.[/q]
I'm finding it a little difficult to give away hints without giving away the answer to the riddle, but I'll try.
1. The number seven has no meaning at all in the riddle.
2. Each of these lines refer to something DIFFERENT.
3. The last four lines ask you to name some certain property that they all have in common.
I give three hints as I haven't been checking on this thread much lately.
thery are all numbered Final Fantasies?
If that was so, then 7 would refer to FF7, instead of not referring to anything. (It's wrong.)
well I give up (_ _)
Hint - the right answer has already been mentioned, but without enough support.
just give the answer already, we're all stumped
I'm only doing this because it's the 500th post. :p
One for the ladies, (Edge, the ladies man)
Two for the man. (Palom and Porom helping Cecil)
Three you fight but once, (Magus Sisters)
Four you fight again. (Four Fiends)
Five once and only, (Only game with five people in party)
Six the most you'll see. (The most enemies you'll fight in a battle)
Seven means nothing,
But eight are the key. (Eight crystals to get to the Moon)
If your arithmetic is sharp,
Then soon enough you'll see,
This property of their relationship
Is the answer you must give me. (Give me the name of the game they're all from - FFIV)
Grover was closest, so he goes.
Mighty, mighty tricky, but very well made riddle.
You're up Grover.
Take care all.
All I give are FFXI riddles and you guys wont get them if I gave 100 million dollars to the winner, so I'll pass
If you did give 100 million dollars, I would buy FFXI and play it just to get the riddle...
I'M PASSING if you like it or not

Don't do this riddle if you don't want to, no one had one going and I wanted to write one, so. :D
This is the first riddle i've written, so if it isn't very good I'm sorry!
Norg from FF8?
Right idea, but wrong game!Quote:

You go, PhoenixAsh! Correct! But did you also see that there wasQuote:

Haha, sorry forgot about that *hordes chocobos*. Okay I don't have time to get too creative, but I'll see what I can do.
A fallen ally then a fallen enemy,
Falling allies then fallen enemies.
A fallen leader but not for long,
Three then fall but is one gone?
Four shall fall if four are there,
Just who falls next and should we care?
Okay I'll give one clue, this is specific to THREE FFs and for a reason, this one could be a bit easy but we'll see...
Hmmm....I only really know ff's 6 (tho haven't finished it....) to x-2, so not sure if I could get this one.
Trying to think of allys who become enemys....Quote:

1. FFIV - KainQuote:

6. FFVII - Sephiroth, and yes
Cycle - IV, VI, VII.
is it the Spell Mega-Death?
(SPOILER) Just my 2K
PoD as usual gets the idea, but sadly the wrong three games, it's also slightly more specifically written than that.
Sorry Grover, way off.
:x_x: That's what you get for not playing FF's in ages...Quote:

Ok seeing the answer isn't which three FF's its talking about. I'll takeshot at who fall's next. This is not just a guess, I have tried to think this thorugh.
Is it Tidus?
Sorry, nope.
Getting the answer will require the riddle to be looked at properly, so I recommend explaining your answers. That and I may not say yes without an explanation :D.
why do you torture us? Why?
Just my 2K.
A fallen ally then a fallen enemy,
Falling allies then fallen enemies. (This could be something to do with FFX- people who aren't sent turning into fiends)
A fallen leader but not for long, (This could be about Cloud when he falls into the Lifestream and looses himself)
Three then fall but is one gone? (Could this have to do with Auron Jecht and Braska? They all kinda fall, though Auron only get's sent later....and so does Jecht....)
Four shall fall if four are there, ( I agree with whoever said this has to do with an FF where you have 4 chars in battle eg FF9)
Just who falls next and should we care?
*gives up in frustration!!!!*
Phoenix Ash I hope you die a slow, painful death. (just kidding)
Just my 2K
This is getting painful...*goes and tries to figure it out again...*
You know you've all been stuck on my riddles before, and you've seen the explanations, you should know I use punctuation to help a lot.
How about I just sidestep the whole figuring out which FFs, figure out which game line three is from, and then fit that to line 6 (assuming of course the pattern is a three-game cycle repeated twice)? :D
So since apparently line 3 is not Cloud from FFVII, and there are no other FFs with such a situation save FFIX and possibly FFVI (although it's arguable there's no real leader in FFVI), I'd go with Zidane from FFIX in Pandemonium, which means Garland falls next, and uh, we should care, because Garland was cool.
What did I say about punctuation? Come on PoD you know my riddles well enough to figure out what pattern I'm using.
Guess I'll give another clue. There is a VERY important reason I only used three FF's, and it isn't due to plot relations. Line 5 has been partly cracked, but it's a lot more specific than what's been got so far.
D'oh - didn't see that. That requires figuring out Line 4 or Line 5, which are weirder. :x_x:
*Is unsure as to whether you understood the pattern or not, but has faith*
You know you could stop trying to cheat and actually look at the whole riddle. I don't write pointless lines very often that I remember, in fact I was fairly tight on how much I wrote, I SHOULD have written more lines than I did if I was doing the riddle to it's full extent.
:( Write more lines, then! :p
Holy trout lines 5 and 6 could be referring to how you have four members in your party while Kain is jumping in the air, and he would be the person that falls next from the sky, as he's jumping. That's more specific than the other explanations given so far...
Lines 3 and 4 could refer to Cloud, Tifa, and Aeris all leaving the party in FFVII; Aeris permanently.
Lines 1 and 2 then, could refer to something in FFX, since the pattern would be 4-7-10, or rather, 10-7-4. The difference by three goes along with three different FFs. I hope the pattern is 10-10-7-7-4-4? :riiight:
So that would make my answer Kain, and yes, we should care, because Kain is awesome.
You're starting to go along the right lines of thinking, I don't want to add the other lines because they wouldn't work so well, but there should be more.
Two clues, first there is a VERY strict structure to how this riddle is written, no line is irrelevant or could be moved. Remember what I said, the reason I chose three FFs is not due to their plots, and line five was almost solved.
Another big clue is to pay attention to the exact wording of line two.
A fallen ally then a fallen enemy,
Falling allies then fallen enemies.
A fallen leader but not for long,
Three then fall but is one gone?
Four shall fall if four are there,
Just who falls next and should we care?
Do you mind if I put up ideas, even when I'm not having a stab at solving the riddle?
PoD, what you said about Kain is cool, and there's another char that does that-Freya.
The exact wording of line two is fallING allies and fallEN enemies, right? So maybe your talking about the two charactes that jump in battle, later to land on their foes? So maybe line two refers to Kain, Freya, and anyone else who does that kinda stuff.
EDIT: Is this riddle about the different stlyes of attack FF characters have? Like the first line could be about someone who Ko's themself to take out an enemy?
I give, see you all next year
Just my 2K
Sorry Mossy, excellent thinking, but no. You did well with line two but made the wrong interpretation.
Okay I'll give a clue, the FFs involved are consecutive, and that's very important in getting the answer. Another clue is while the lines are linked, each line is about something different.
Having a stab in the dark here and posting a few ideas, bear with me :)
Is line one suggesting that a fallen ally become a fallen enemy later on?
Falling allies then fallen enemies. I have always thought this line refered to Galbadia garden. It was falling because Galbadia and the Sorceress wanted to use and abuse it. There fallen enemies due to the battle between the two gardens. There were enemies after Seifer and the galbadians soldiers took it over and started ramming Balamb. And they fell because they lost.
I'm still stuck on the rest :)
Hmmmm, riddles seem to be getting less people trying to solve them these days. Guess I'll have to reveal the answer too.
As I said several times the fact that there was only three FFs and not for plot reasons was important. Three consecutive FFs aswell. The link, multiple discs. Obviously more needed, but that gets the answer.
A fallen ally then a fallen enemy, (Aeris, then Jenova)
Falling allies then fallen enemies. (Big clue with falling, parachute drop then Proud Clod, Hojo etc.)
A fallen leader but not for long, (Squall's recovery from Edea's ice attack)
Three then fall but is one gone? (Edea, Seifer and Rinoa who goes into a coma)
Four shall fall if four are there, (Beatrix wipes ut your party, but Quina isn't neccessarily in it)
Just who falls next and should we care? (So end of disc two, FFIX, the answer is Brahne)
Dang, I'd have NEVER gotten that. You, my good sir, a a dang good riddler.
Just my 2K.Quote:

Heh thanks for the praise. Think I'll let someone else go for now, riddle threads are losing momentum and I don't think people care enough to solve mine at the moment :D.
Okay, let me see if I can get a good one out.
Always there when it's needed,
Never late, always prompt,
But only if you have enough.
Not there at the beginning,
But now that they are here,
They'll stay untill the end.
This might pale in comparison to PhoenixAsh's, but oh well...
Okay I've been thinking about this and hoping some people would guess, but the thread seems to be dieing...
This could probably twist for a few things, but I'll guess chocobos.
Always there when it's needed,
Never late, always prompt,
But only if you have enough. (This sounds like the way of calling them with greens in FFIX)
Not there at the beginning,
But now that they are here,
They'll stay untill the end. (They only came into the series a few in, and now they're not likely to be left out.)
Nope, but a good guess.
I'm going to guess Summons.
Always there when it's needed, You can always summon them from a good monster/boss ass-whooping. :p
Never late, always prompt, Well, it might take a little time to summon them, but you usually know how long it will take and it rarely takes longer than expected for them to appear.
But only if you have enough. In most FFs, you need MP to summon them.
Not there at the beginning, The summoner class, and incidentally summons, appeared first in FFIII.
But now that they are here,
They'll stay untill the end. They've become as much of a trademark
of FF as Chocobos and Cid.
Takara has found the answer. You may now create your own riddle. Yay!
T-A-K-A-R-A, you're up
Patience, butterfly. :) I only answered yesterday.
Anyway, here's the riddle.
You come seeking my guidance,
Yet I am not who you thought I'd be.
I may seem helpless at times
But to not underestimate me;
Rumours say I'm the fifth.
Who am I?
Okay this _Really_ sounds alot like Regent Cid from Final Fantasy IX to me, the only thing is he's the sixth Cid in the series, I just want to make sure it's not Regent Cid so I can get my mind off of it hahaha
Nope, it's not Regent Cid. :)
Is it Krile from FFV?
Guido?
You come seeking my guidance, (yep)
Yet I am not who you thought I'd be. (Not expecting a turtle)
I may seem helpless at times (He's a freakin turtle)
But to not underestimate me; (He attacks Ex-Death)
Rumours say I'm the fifth (Uh...Warrior of the Dawn? Ninja Turtle?)
I'll follow Necronopticous' logic and say Cid from FFVIII, as he would therefore be the fifth. Also the first parts of the riddle remind me of Squall's review of him in the missile attack, and his relationship with Edea.
Dearest Tragedy got the answer. It was Guido, AKA the Fifth Ninja Turtle. :D
Yay yay :D
First as a pawn,
Then as a leader,
Then a fighter.
Absent once,
Before returning (in triplicate!).
Absent twice more,
Then showing up again (though in name only).
Once again a comrade (but technically...not),
Before going missing again.
Shadow? (FFVI)
From the way the riddles written, my guess is each line refers to consecutive FFs, however I've only played three that whatever the answer isn't missing from (1, 8 and 9). From them I want to say the monk class, as 9 sounds like Amarant to me, and theres an item in VIII called a Monk's Code if I remember.
If this is the right approach I suspect playing FFV will help a lot.
No to Grover (I think I already replied to his post yesterday, but my post disappeared? ) and no to PhoenixAsh, though your reasoning is on the right track.
And I'm going to be gone this weekend, so I'll answer any more guesses by Sunday evening Atlantic time.
its past Thursday XD, could you give us the answer now?
Just my 2K.
Uh, just out of curiosity, why didn't anyone try to answer my riddle?
Anyway, the answer was the various princesses in the games.
First as a pawn, (Sara in FFI was a pawn of Garland)
Then as a leader, (Hilda in II led the Rebel Army)
Then a fighter. (Sarah was a fighter in III, right? I haven't played this one.)
Absent once, (No princesses in IV)
Before returning (in triplicate!). (Princesses Lenna, Faris, and Krile in V)
Absent twice more, (No princesses in VI or VII)
Then showing up again (though in name only). (Rinoa's nickname was princess in VIII)
Once again a comrade (but technically...not), (Princess Garnet in IX joined your party, but technically she was not the real Princess Garnet)
Before going missing again. (No princesses in X)
Apparently no one liked my riddle, so sorry. Anyone can post a new one.
I did actually like it, and seeing it explained in full it was cleverer than I expected, I just hadn't played enough FFs to guess very well.
I like your riddle, as it was extremely well thought out. Don't feel bad if no one tried it doesn't mean no one tried. I tried, but I couldn't think of anything and didn't want to make a spam post. Anyway, I guess the next ones up for grabs, although this thread looks like it may have run its course.
Celes in FFVI was the princess of the empire, thats why I didnt get your riddle.
Can i make a riddle?
i no i didn't answer any at all...but..yeah
this is it- u needn't answer if you must
you find me in a secret way
in a place of not-so-fond memories,
i am dark but i can be trusted
i only fight from afar
but if you trigger my pain,
i will show you a berzerked fury
this fury is a product of someone i hate
who went of with my love
name the 3 char.s that are associated with the riddle
umm...
Vincent (the person your talking about)
HoJo (the man vincent hates who went with his woman)
lucrecia (the woman)
am I right?
Dante u r correct!
that was kinda ez i thought...
well, I'm trying to think of one right now, but I havent always been a good riddle creator...if any1 has a riddle, then plz, be my guest.
hate to jump in here, but i hav a riddle. oh and i'd like some credit for reading this entire thread (all 571 posts... please kill me!)
I know this world so well,
But my time has past.
All your stories; I can tell
But you'll never know my own.
(tried to do the rhyming thing but gave up!)
it would make me really happy if you guys could pretend to be stumped for all of, ooh, 2 seconds? please?!
Hmm... looking over it, it mite b a bit vague but i'll happily post hints!
Hey, well done skye! *Pats skye on back*
I used to do that but mweh......waaaaaaay too many to read.
Btw, it's me, Mossy, i ain't copied the siggy. My compy wasn't signed in as me and I can't figure out the password
Wild guess but umm...
The Fayth?
EDIT: I'm stumped!
nope but good try
i'll post a hint or two tomorrow if no-one gets it in the meantime

I'm going to take another guess and say Garland (FFIX).
no, but the biggest clue is the word stories
try again
I know this world so well,
But my time has past.
All your stories; I can tell
But you'll never know my own.
Maechen?
And that, as they say, is that!
He's great - tells you all sorts of thing you'd never know! :p

well done, now i can pass my torch!
on you go silverwings
Sorry for the wait.

It's the Celestial Weapons.

One is weak - it makes him strong (auron)

Am I right?
Man, woz it that easy? *need to make riddles more challenging, mwahahahaa*
Yup, you gottit! Gogogogo!
Flying over the world,
Visiting deserts, beaches and plains,
Defeat me? I doubt it,
But catch me, feed me, and I will reward you.
I would say PuPu from VIII, but you can sure as hell beat him since he only has 5 HP. Otherwise I'm stumped.
chocobo's? they don't do much flying but they can
Correct, it was Pupu from FFVIII. When I said you couldn't defeat it, I was referring to the spaceship. Well done.Quote:

Ummm.........
I agree. I think a clue/hint would be helpful.
ok, is it Esthar?
Well, if it's from ffs 6 downwards I have no chance
I think I've got it! Is it Strago magus, grandfather of Relm the artist? Relm's Sketch ability causes her paintings to come to life, hence the 'living colour' bit. I hope I'm right.
looks like we'll never know...
Close, but no one has got it yet. And let me add one more thing...
edit
I am the father of living color,
But my name contains none.
Sorry about that.
I'd say Shadow, since he's the Father of a certain pianter/sketcher and black/shadow is the absence of color.
If I'm correct, Darkness may take my turn since my answer was made much easier because of the one previously given.
Take care all.
Why, thank you, how generous of you! :D
Defeat the ultimate to get the same,
Hunt, discover, and spend,
Riding on a bird near the bubbling transporter,
Travel to the beyond, then return to the place of tranquility,
You will find me there.
What am I?
Is it a choboco from Final Fantasy x just as a guess  because there is a transporter when you first go in the calm lands
No, sorry. Hint: I am many things, but I share one quality.
Ulitma Weapon-this particular clue refers to the one in FFIX I suppose.
Hmm...I'm not too sure about that one, your answer is very vague, so I'll say no. Try again.
Are you a member of the Shumi Tribe?
No. What made you say that? ...*thinks*... Is it because I said 'Hmm...'? I always say that, to indicate I am thinking. Anyway, do you have an answer to my riddle?
Heh, actually that was my answer; the whole 'I am many things, but I share one quality'. But I believe I have it narrowed down to something that is in FFVIII.
Then you would believe wrongly, my friend. You are correct in thinking it is in FFVIII, but it is also in others...
Then my only guess would be Ultima/Atma Weapon for the following reasons
Defeat the ultimate to get the same, - Defeat Ultima/Atma Weapon and recieve Ultima/Atma Weapon
Hunt, discover, and spend, - This one stumped me
Riding on a bird near the bubbling transporter, - The remains of the transporter to Terra in FFIX
Travel to the beyond, then return to the place of tranquility, - See above
You will find me there.
Hint: I am many things, but I share one quality. - Magic, Weapon, Boss, shares the name Ultima
Oh well, I guess I can't get every riddle right. But it was worth a shot.
So close, so very close, but not quite.
I have no clue...
OK, this has been going for a week now, so I'm going to reveal the answer. I give the next riddle to §håd0w as he was the closest.
Defeat the ultimate to get the same, (Defeat Ultimate WEAPON to get Cloud's Ultimate Weapon)
Hunt, discover, and spend, (You need to hunt down enemies that drop the items needed to customise Squall's Lionheart)
Riding on a bird near the bubbling transporter, (You find Zidane's Ultimate Weapon by using a Dead Pepper while on a chocobo near the Shimmering Isle bubbles)
Travel to the beyond, then return to the place of tranquility,
You will find me there.(You need to go to The Beyond to get Tidus' Sun Sigil, then go to the Calm Lands to get his Caladbolg)
So the answer was the final weapons from FFVII - FFX.

Arigato...
I have two fathers, so they say,
But both of them have gone away.
One rests in a land of sun
One's forever on the run.
Between them are two mouths to scold me
Between them are two hands to hold me.
Now I wait where shadows rise,
Watched by two out of six eyes.
Who am I?
may I buy a vowel?
How much is it worth to ya?
Squall?
Wrong game.
I have two fathers, so they say,
But both of them have gone away.
One rests in a land of sun (Strago)
One's forever on the run. (Shadow)
Between them are two mouths to scold me
Between them are two hands to hold me.
Now I wait where shadows rise,
Watched by two out of six eyes.
Who am I?
RELM
Close... but not quite. Try another game; it's not VI or VIII
Just a wild guess, but is it Cecil from FFIV?
Nope; you're moving farther away from the answer.
two out of six eyes and more or less fatherless could be Eiko Carol from IX. I don't know how many moogles look out for her but they could make up the eyes.
Eiko
I have two fathers, so they say, Auron/Jecht
But both of them have gone away. Spira
One rests in a land of sun Jecht (Sin)
One's forever on the run. Auron
Between them are two mouths to scold me
Between them are two hands to hold me.
Now I wait where shadows rise,
Watched by two out of six eyes. Auron
Who am I?
TIDUS
Nope to both.
HINT: Think of a character is also plays the role of a father.
I have two fathers, so they say, Barret/Dyne
But both of them have gone away.
One rests in a land of sun Dyne (Prison)
One's forever on the run. Barret (from Corel)
Between them are two mouths to scold me Barret / Tifa
Between them are two hands to hold me. Barret/ Tifa
Now I wait where shadows rise,
Watched by two out of six eyes. Tifa
Who am I?
MARLENE
that would make a good answer but for the last hint.Quote:

Hmmmmm. Marlene sounds like a good guess to me.
C'mon peeps, don't let this thread die!!! Whats the answer??
Sorry for the delay folks... I didn't get a notification email for this topic.
UltimaKnightGrover, take it away! You got it right.
Ooh! Ooh! Is it me?
[What will I wear?]
[Wait a minute...]
[I don't wear clothes!]
I'm not good a making riddles but...
We have no life...
We have no beliefs...
We have one creator...
and our planet was destroyed by a madman.
WHO ARE WE?
Genomes from FFIX
We have no life... -Empty Vessels
We have no beliefs... -Cannot think for themselves/have no soul
We have one creator... -Garland
and our planet was destroyed by a madman. -(SPOILER)Kuja destroyed Terra
well, that was fast. You're up again.
Hehe... Well here goes.
The weakest of all
Should logically be strong
And that's why the assistance
But this kind of strength
Will not help to stem the tide
Of an annual liberation

You're in the right game. But Ipsen is wrong.
So far, what I have is something about the white mages (Eiko, Garnet - likely Garnet if it is that specific) and the Eidolons.
They're physically the weakest class on the battlefield.Quote:

The assistance being the Eidolons, which give them strength.Quote:

This is what puzzles me. It appears to be something about a situation where the Eidolons provide no help, and I'm thinking something along the lines of Brahne's thirst for power and her path of destruction (and perhaps her use of the Eidolons). It doesn't really seem to fit in with the 'annual liberation' part, and that's the source of my confusion.Quote:

Hehe... Well here goes.
The weakest of all (Leader of Tantalus)
Should logically be strong (He's not)
And that's why the assistance (Zidane, Blank, Marcus, Cinna)
But this kind of strength (Steiner will slaughter them)
Will not help to stem the tide
Of an annual liberation (Get Princess Garnet and put Brahne out of power)
Possible Answers:
The whole beginning of FFIX
Tantalus
Baku
Nah... Think of an enemy on the first disc.
That Black Mage and his dragon friend in the Ice Cavern?
Heh, once again it's your turn.
I live in these run down "ruins"...
with a garden in my back yard...
I dont live in a castle...
so, therefore I'm not a Bard...
I take care of a runaway's child...
but...my ...poor daughter..
Who am I? (I'm horrible at making riddles)
The use of 'Ruins' just yells at me that it has to be something connected with FF8 or FFX - the Ruins where you find Odin, the deep sea research centre or the Omega ruins......
I think your Rinoa, in disc 3 she stands at the flower fields right? That's at the orphange right? And the Orphange is nothing then ruins right?
Ellone....?
Runaway's child: Squall........?
But Ellone doesnt have a daughter.......
not FF8, and change ruins to slums, now you should get it pretty easily
Elmyra?
you're up, again...
WooO!!! Man I'm good.
Once I was the night,
Then I was the light.
Once I was the sword,
Now I am the shield,
Forevermore.
Who am I?
Chupon?
Nope. But it was from one of the SNES/Super Famicom releases though.
you changed the riddle! :exdee:
At first I thought it was Leviathan, now the answer it obvious...
CECIL HARVEY
Indeed... I figured the other one was a bit hard, so there ya go.
So now it's your turn.
someone take my turn, I dont want to give another FFXI riddle.
This will be my first but I thought I would give it a try:
We both are weak but by your numbers,
By them alone you finish me.
But while your beginning may be my end
So to will mine be yours.
Who am I?
Zorn and Thorn?
nope, and just for note the reference to we is about the one you are trying to find out, and "you" as in the characters in the game we as people play as
I will be killed saying this one, but it makes a very little bit of sense...
Rafa and Malak? *shot*
Necron?

no to all and here is the last two lines:
We both are weak but by your numbers,
By them alone you finish me.
But while your beginning may be my end
So to will mine be yours.
As you go back to get me,
I will finish those that would finish me.
Sephiroth?
nope, another hint,
think both chronoligically and the order the game actually plays in
(could mean 1 of 2 things)
the ending of FFIX? Kuja? Zidane?
i do like your persistence but no again :)
My guesses are Edea Kramer and Seymour.
actually getting closer, but lets go back to something I didnt say very well. The riddle is for one person/thing, the "we" refers to the person/thing and the characters playing, and "you" directly refers to what the riddle answer would be saying if you were in the game.
TURKS? I DONT KNOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1111111111111oneonetwofive
then i will answer that last hint for you,
1 of 2 things
1: time travel
2: dreams about the past
(the order the game plays in versus the order of actual time)
that should narrow the game list somewhat
