Mik's may not be innocent, but that certainly seems to appeal to a lot of you, while RSL rugged looks just didn't manage to win enough of you over. Mik takes back an award he won a long time ago, and RSL is left empty handed. A lead of three votes meant that this one was always going to be hard fought for. Interestingly, since the Ciddies took over the EoFF Awards, the six Sexiest Male awards have been one by three members, twice each - Chickencha, Mikztsu, Chickencha, Loony BoB, Loony BoB, Mikztsu. Will one of them make it three times late this year, or will we have a new face in our dreams at night? You could say it's running in the family, though, with Chickencha and BoB known to be one and the same, with Mikztsu being their son...

I've let BoB write out this one on behalf of myself: While all this shows that hard work definitely does pay off, there was always going to be one winner, and it's unfortunate for Flying Mullet as it would have been for eternal had she lost, as they both have worked extremely hard to improve EoFF for the site-browsers who, of course, often become forum members. These two members have truely inspired me into working even harder to make the EoFF Site Staff work smoothly, and they've endeavoured to make EoFF a better place. I can't say enough for either of them, and I hope they continue to help us out because without either one of them, EoFF would most definitely be at a great loss, much like the loss that was felt when Spatvark stepped down from his position earlier this year. Again, thankyou both, and congratulations to eternal on her win. As I said, they both deserved it, and I'm happy that it was one of them. All the other Site Staff also deserved votes, and I'm glad that all of them (aside from Kalinda, which is unsurprising as she's more site-browser than a forum-poster, and I appreciate her news updates nonetheless) did so. The Best Female award was won last year by ShlupQuack, who has again been nominated this year, along with six other worthy ladies from Eyes on Final Fantasy. Every single one of the nominees gained at least nine votes, the most any of them had at the time voting closed was eleven. A single tie-breaker was used to break this tie. Because this one was so close, I thought I'd give a bit of background. The members voted for this award were as follows:
Calliope - The New Zealander joined Eyes on Final Fantasy to stalk Loony BoB and Raven, her offline friends. She fast established herself as one of the quirkiest spamming females to have clicked the submit button in the forums, and has met at least half a dozen members since joining. She has also now involved witha member she met from EoFF - Spuuky - and they have met on numerous occasions. She is, of course, also a member of the Ciddies Committee, and assists Loony BoB with coming up with the awards you've seen given out tonight, as with every previous Ciddies event.
eternalshiva - eternal is the leading lady when it comes to EoFF's Site Staff, and is a consistent helper to anyone who she is able to assist, no matter what the problem is. She designs images for people's signatures and avatars on request. She designs images for the Eyes on Final Fantasy gaming sections. She gathers and now even codes information for the same sections. She assists with Site Staff management and she can cheer you up when you're feeling down. BoB describes her as one of the inspirations to his commitment to serving on EoFF Site Staff and she has already won a couple of Ciddies tonight. Leeza - As far as I'm aware, she's EoFF's oldest regular member, but it seems age comes with more than a few good qualities with Leeza. She's won Nicest Member five Ciddies in a row and has been there for various members in their times of need. Always there to offer you a happy faced smilie and a good friend to anyone who wants to be, she really is one-of-a-kind. Since joining, she's been selected to be a Cid's Knight and hasn't let the team down, further confirming that she's not just a pretty face. Of course, it's not all roses and daisies with this well loved lady - while she has a husband offline, suspicions have been raised regarding her relationship with another well known member, known to us as HOOTERS...
RSL - RSL is one freaking cool member of EoFF. I'm pretty sure that RSL is the only Cid's Knight to have been around from day one and NEVER stepped down from staff. This achievement can be bettered by absoloutely nobody, so kudos to RSL for that in it's own. RSL has a studly face, and is really sexy. Let's just all be in awe of RSL's sexiness for a while, okay? Yeah, cool. *has a moment of awe* ...awesome. Okay, and just to top it all off, RSL is an acronym. A three letter acronym! The best kind, man!!! Okay, I'm sorry, I have to go and relieve myself. All this thinking about RSL has made me all tense in areas that I don't want to speak about publically. Love RSL. LOVE RSL.
Rye - The pioneering lady of the W-Boats, Rye is turning into an extremely popular girl in both forums and chatroom, offering smiles and laughs to one and all. Unlucky to miss out on Cutest Female, she did manage to pick up the award for Most Innocent member, which clearly will appeal to all you dirty 48 year olds pretending that you're fifteen year old guys. Of course, you never know - there's a rumour going around that Rye is also one of these 48 year olds. Of course, we don't allow for rumours here at EoFF, and hell, we'll take her at face value, and at face value she's a sweet girl who everyone's come to know, love and appreciate having here at EoFF.
ShlupQuack - Last year ShlupQuack managed a 15-11 victory over her good friend Ashley, aka TheAbominatrix. So, let's see, where do we begin... Shlup joined Eyes on Final Fantasy because a close friend of hers just happened to own it. Yes, that's right, Shlup is a good friend of Cid, the owner and creator of Eyes on Final Fantasy itself. Since re-registering in mid-to-late 2000 after a short absence, Shlup slowly made a name for herself as more than just a friend of EoFF's God, though, and some people might even know of Cid as Shlup's friend these days. Shlup has won many Ciddies in the past, including the Best Admin award these Ciddies and the Best Female award last time (as mentioned earlier). She's also one of the coolest members anyone could ever get to know, especially offline, where she's even cooler. The big question is, will her coolness have allowed her to get enough votes to pull off a victory in the hardest-fought Ciddie battle in this thread?
TheAbominatrix - Abo may well be wanting some payback for last years second place to Shlup. Ashley has been a consistent poster in various forums in EoFF including the more serious areas of Eyes on Each Other and World Events. She's has also earned herself the title of Recognized Member after she hosted the second series of Eyes on YOU. She likes to get involved with things and is always up for a good debate. She's met quite a few EoFF'ers over her time here, and I'm pretty sure she'll meet a lot more and continue to be a highly valued EoFF member. Still, has she managed to knock her everpresent friend Mandee off the top spot?
Xander - Xander has arguably been the one of the more unlucky of members these Ciddies, having so far racked up a massive bunch of votes in a lot of the awards just to miss out to someone who's racked up just a few more. Still, she's not empty handed - she and boyfriend Lindz, who also posts in EoFF and chats in #eoff, have pulled off a strong victory in the Cutest Couple award. Can Xander get this one by herself? Xander is one of the three newest Knights at EoFF, too - but that didn't stop her from being very close to winning the Best CK award on her first go. Picked to join staff because of her kind, friendly attitude around EoFF and her ability to give off a great impression of a trustable person, many voters have trusted in her, but we'll soon find out if many is enough.

Agent Proto - Agent Proto joined EoFF in 2000 and soon enough, he was made a Cid's Knight. He's had his share of events over the years, too, having hosted the much appreciated EoFF ScreenName Competition and is known as one of the best thread starters since the move to vB3, with a number of his threads being right up the top when it comes to the amount of posts and members participating in them. He's in a relationship with nominee for Most Missed Member, Divina, and they were entered as a combined nominee in the Cutest Couple award, too. Proto is also known for making awful name changes, including Preton and Protozoa. ;) Recently, Agent Proto stepped down as Cid's Knight so that he could concentrate on other areas of his online world, and has settled into his new status as Best Recognized Member/Former Staff.
Big D - The Most Underrated Member of EoFF is now very much becoming a Big Deal. He's stamped his name into the Ciddies in a wonderful fashion this year, with Most Underrated and Most Suave Member to his name, not to mention picking up second equal in the Best Cid's Knight Ciddie within his first year of being a Cid's Knight. Big D is one of those every-so-lovely New Zealanders and is one of the most valued posters in EoFF, providing well thought out opinions that make us think. A Cid's Knight before the eight months required to get a custom rank, if I remember rightly, Big D posts in a large variety of the forums, offering coverage that most Cid's Knights fail to offer. When Big D does something, he tends to do it in the best possible way, and EoFF is proud to have him on board.
Del Murder - Del Murder has become a classic EoFFer. He's got class, he's got style, he makes us laugh and he makes us think. There's not much extra you could really ask for from EoFF's second and now foremost Del, and true to his previous Ciddie of Most Likely To Become A Cid's Knight, he was Knighted within the last six months along with Xander and Yamaneko. Since then, he has lived up to every expectation and then some, showing that if you put a bit of faith in him, he won't let you down. He's our one and only local enforcer, he's already picked up a bunch of Ciddies in the past and he's a strong runner for this one too. Can he do it? We'll soon find out.
Gau - Gau recently returned to EoFF's staff, replacing Agent Proto who left as stated earlier. Known to a lot of us as Matt, it just goes to show how personal this guy can be. BoB calls him his best male friend because he can talk to him about anything no matter how long it's been since the last time, and BoB loves the guy so much he lives in his closet. Matt has been a pretty involved member over the years, having had relationships with some of the lovely ladies here, a-opped the chatroom for heaven-knows-how-long and (of course) being a quality no-nonsense Cid's Knight. Not to say that he can't have fun, either. He's got a very cute, cuddly side to him and if you can get to know this guy, you'll see the kind of sweetness that got him the status of Cutest Male for three Ciddies in a row.
HOOTERS - As if he hasn't taken enough Ciddies already tonight, he's still got a couple more to look into before he knows just how many he'll finish up with. HOOTERS is the kind of guy that you either love or don't, and the majority of EoFF sure does love him. They realise he has his faults but for the most part, we can't help but laugh as he does it anyway. His relationship with EoFF's second lady Leeza provides all of us with a lot of amusement to say the least, and this place sure wouldn't be the same without him. HOOTERS was originally registered as Hootenanny before he found his new nickname over in Aiyon and carried it back over to EoFF.
Loony BoB - BoB is a git.
Mikztsu - Son of a git... Mik is a real character here at EoFF, and has offered EoFF his personality for quite some time now. He's known for being all sorts of things - crazy, horny, dirty, naughty, disgusting, hilarious, dopey, friendly, scarey... you name it, he's done it. Well, maybe not cute. I mean, seriously. Mik? Cute? Oh me oh my. Anyway, while Mik has done a lot for EoFF since joining in 2000, the notable position of a-op in the chatroom gave him the status of Recognized Member in the past. However, a certain incident involving his thoughts on reptiles and rectums caused him a little flutter of trouble and he's since lost his pretty gold title. But does that mean we have to love him less? Hell no! Mik is as enjoyable to be around as ever before, and I'm sure we'll be able to bask in his varied personality for a while to come yet.
Psychotic - Psy is the leader of the W-Boats and is seemingly idolised by his peers as not just a quality fun leading kinda guy, but also as an inspiration to their ideals and their happiness. He's picked up a huge load of friends and he's here at EoFF to have fun, and that's what we like to see (so long as he doesn't overdo it!). As active as they come, Psy posts all over the forums with his friends and blasts the chatroom with a surge of activity whenever he's there - just what the place needs, too. :) Psy is the kind of guy that doesn't take things too seriously. You can trade a few joking insults with him and he'll still give off the impression that he puts his friends before everything, and he'll stick up for them or care for them whenever they really need it. Quality friend, quality fun, just the kind of stuff we like to see around EoFF.
RSL - Oh man oh man oh man oh man oh man oh man oh man *orgasm*
The Captain - Oh man, you should have been in chat the other day when Da Cap'n was in da house. xD This was my first real insight into the person that The Captain is, and I loved it. The Captain is first and foremost a very polite and friendly guy. Some might say he's of the same breed as Big D, but once you get to know them you'll see their differences. Oh, and it really is great to see him in the chatroom, too. The Captain is a real feel good guy, too, he'll PM you and give compliments when he feels they'll be deserved, and I like that. Heavy on the modest side, all you really need to do to get him going is just fool around, and he'll join right in. Most Likely To Become A Cid's Knight? Da Cap'n really is in da house, yo.

These two have a bit of a habit of running into each other in competitions, with Psychotic winning Mr. EoFF over BoB in the finals and BoB beating Psy to the post in the General Elections. One more to BoB this time around, but I highly doubt this means anything to their future competitions - these two will always be head to head, soc to W-Boat, Loony to Psychotic, NZ'er to Englishman, BoB to Psy, bel; to Aiyon, stuff to things, a to z, 'til death do they part.
