As stated numerous times.
Is there a release date for Australia?
Damn, I can't wait
There's no release date for anywhere but Japan.
Damn, I'm going to move Japan over here *grabs Japan and drags accross the globe*.
On a slightly more sane level - Is there even any rumours about releases dates?
I need Advent Children dammit...
No! I want Japan! *tugs*
If anyone gets Japan, It should be me! Advent Children will be released where I am last...probobly. Thats the way things go in England. We get all the good games YEARS after Japan...*cries* And I know Advent Children is not a game, but it is most likley to follow the game pattern. *cries again*
Erm,buy it off e-bay from some american who owns it if you det desperat for it:P
i hope we see it by december...that would be very nice.
Yes, it will be available on Ebay as soon as it's released in Japan (though I'd wait for the American version for the subtitles) and on peer to peer networks as well. It'll be easily available for everyone.

Could the appearance of a zack figure mean that he may appear in Advent Children? What do you think?
Well, we know there's an Aeris flashback, so maybe there's one for Zack, too.
Thought I'd start making a name for myself with this thread. I've been avidly following AC info from the previous forum, so I hope the trend continues here. Here's some new info that's bound to get you drooling.
Square-Enix USA Website Updated with E3 Info

The official Square-Enix website has been updated with a press release on the games that it will be showing at the E3 expo next week. There is a small paragraph on Advent Children which refers to technological advancements enabling a new look for the world of Final Fantasy VII. It also mentions that no release date has been set for the US as yet.
Of further interest is the mention of a FFVII related mobile game called "Before Crisis - Final Fantasy VII". A trailer from the game will be showing at E3 which is said to take mobile gaming to a whole new level. Whether this is referring to a mobile phone game or something for the upcoming PSP is not yet known. Also a 3D modeling sample of Cloud will be on display.
Here is the extract from the site which refers to Advent Children:
FINAL FANTASY® VII ADVENT CHILDREN™
Two years after the events of FINAL FANTASY VII, the ruins of Midgar stand as testament to the sacrifices that were made in order to bring peace. However, the world will soon face a new menace. A mysterious illness is spreading fast. Old enemies are astir. And Cloud, who walked away from the life of a hero to live in solitude, must step forward yet again...
FINAL FANTASY VII ADVENT CHILDREN is a fully developed, CG-work sequel to FINAL FANTASY VII, the seminal 1997 PlayStation hit. Through approximately 60 minutes of beautifully crafted DVD content, FINAL FANTASY VII ADVENT CHILDREN revisits the rich universe and memorable characters of FINAL FANTASY VII two years after its dramatic conclusion. Technological advancements bring a visually stunning new look to the city of Midgar and its residents.
FINAL FANTASY VII, originally released in Japan for the PlayStation console on January 31, 1997 (September 7, 1997 in North America), redefined the standard for role-playing games (RPGs) and has since achieved record-shattering sales of over 9 million units worldwide. Fans have long requested a true sequel, and with FINAL FANTASY VII ADVENT CHILDREN, their wishes are granted.
The release date for FINAL FANTASY VII ADVENT CHILDREN will be announced at a later date.
The page also covers all of the games that will be shown at E3. This includes Kingdom Hearts 2, Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories, Front Mission 4 and the Final Fantasy XI Expansion Pack. Also included in the list is Final Fantasy XII, which had previously not been listed on the E3 lists that have been posted at major gaming sites.

Any guesses as to what "Before Crisis" might be? I think it's a simple recount of FFVII's story. A summary, as it were. But why this would be in portable form is what intrigues me. Don't get your hopes up on an actual game "game". No way Square would put something like that in a mobile phone or anything else less profitable.
